I can pretend I'm angry,
I can pretend that I don't care;
But as much as I deny it,
I was yours to ensnare.You played with my heart,
And used me for your own;
Then you abandoned me,
Left me bitter and alone.Why did I believe you?
Why did I think you were mine?
I should've listened to my heart,
I should've seen the signs.Now I'm hollow and empty,
With no hope for tomorrow;
Instead of being hopeful,
Now I'm filled with sorrow.Why did you leave me?
