Gently lapping at my feet
My legs
My waist
My shoulders
I am floating
Supported
In the loving hands of the water
The music of the ocean
Carries me away
I close my eyes
The water whispers
“Trust me”
I let go
Face turned to the sky
I rest

Lulls me away
The sound
Of waves crashing against the shore
Recedes
Until there is nothing left
But the salty breeze
Kissing my face
And my mind melting away
I am whole
