Who Are You?

Who are you?

You’re not who I thought you were

You’ve ripped off your old mask

Only to replace it with a new one

A scarier one

I know this isn’t you

But the fact that you’d try to be this

Makes me wonder who you are

Who you really are

It’s such a horrid mask

Wild and frightful

Creepy and haunting

A fake, stretched smile

On a fake, stretched face

You wear those clothes

You’re with those people

You say those things

Where is the person I know?

I knew?

Is she gone for good?

Or can she resurface?

Because I don’t know how to get you back

And I’m almost beyond trying anymore

You’ve pushed me away one too many times
