It is that ability to empathize as others emote
That makes us compassionate, whole and
Human.
It is relating and connecting to a situation or problem
That allows our hearts to break and mend with
Others.
It is listening and reading and watching things play out
That helps us feel their feelings through just
Words.
It is music and speeches and poetry
That tie us together at the heart and
Soul.
It is in this way
That we are just a single
Body.
It is a body connected by hearts and souls
That breathes and feels as
One.
It is because of this unity
That we are able to weep and sob and laugh and
Smile.
