You barely know her

How do you even know her?

We were friends

Children laughing together

I’d tag you and you’d chase me

How things can change from childhood

To now

Only a few years later

We are not much more than children ourselves

Yet we act as if it’s been centuries

Eons

Forever

I haven’t seen you
