Vineet is angry —angry with himself. After all, because of him, Ruhana is upset. He has always taken her for granted because she’s always been available for him. She does silly things and he mistook her for being a kid. He doesn’t share his pain, or his problems with her, and diverts her toward other things. This is why Ruhana is upset with him. She said it all…
“I just wanted to bring back my best friend. I wanted the Vineet who never hid anything from me, who played with me, who treated me with ice cream.”
“You– you love to talk with othes but not me. Why would you, I am a kid after all. Tum bas sabke saamne mera mazaak banate ho. That’s what you’ve been doing! Us Rhea se baat kar sakte ho lekin Ruhana se nahi! Han! Rhea is more mature than Ruhana, mujhse zyada space wo tumhe deti hai na, tumse chipak ke. Hai na!“
“You won’t get another Ruhana, ever! Chirag leke dhundhoge na toh bhi nahi milegi!”
Those were her last words. Since then, she’s not spoken to him, not waited for him in the garden after dinner and didn’t even meet her eyes with his. She hasn’t scolded him even.
Okay, just a day and he can’t bear it. But, he’s been serving her the same, for many years. And she must be feeling it but didn’t open her mouth, she just let it go— giving him time to heal, but he has hurt her in return, he has given her only pains—immense pain.
Vineet sighs — he is teary-eyed. Also, he is determined to convince her — to gain her trust and care, again.

The next morning comes quickly. Ruhana is up at once as the sun rays kiss her head. She sits on the bed, hugging herself, as she feels a little tired, after all, she stayed awake late in the night, unable to sleep. She feels hurt whenever she thinks about her best friend, and more than that, she is guilty of behaving badly with Vineet, but it is necessary.
He must understand how she feels whenever he ignores her or takes her for granted, most importantly, serves her with his silence. She is hurt and she wants him to realise. She looks sullen for some time, but then a smile lights on her face.
After all, it's the day to go shopping — a shopping spree awaits them. The teachers have been thoughtful and put a day for shopping and some free time, away from studies. They know youngsters love such free time, but they will be under surveillance too. Therefore, it is fine, isn’t it?
Ruhana smiles to herself, after all, she doesn’t want to hold any sort of grudges from anyone, be it her friends or Vineet. She wants to enjoy this trip. Well, it would have been more fun, if Vineet had kept his promise, but, she doesn’t want to look sullen and red-eyed when she attends RD’s concert.

Ruhana casts a glance at her friends and shakes them gently in order to wake them up. She tells them that they will enjoy this day together and will do a lot of shopping. The girls take turns taking showers and getting ready for the day ahead.
An hour later, Ruhana, Priyanka and Shubhi are ready to leave. The girls lock their room and move into the restaurant. They greet other students and they sit to eat breakfast. Meanwhile, as Ruhana is wandering around, her eyes meet Vineet's eyes. But she looks away and begins concentrating on her breakfast.
There's a lot on her plate - - - steaming idli-sambhar, poha and red velvet pastry. Yummy treats, surely. Though Vineet has been a treat to her eyes and her soul too, she's mad at him at the same time. She sighs deeply and begins to eat her breakfast, talking to her friends.
Thirty minutes later, they are ready to go. It's shopping time, they will be free today and they can enjoy as it pleases them. There's a lot on their list, well girls are never tired of shopping.
Their first destination is Fashion Street.

The students have made their own groups upon reaching the destination. The girls have made their own groups — different classes and different groups. It seems like the day is going to be fantastic.
Fashion street is a market for everything — clothes, jewellery, sandals, artistic pieces and many crafted things. Also, there are a lot of stalls to have chaat and other mouth-watering dishes. Ain’t it a delicious and beautiful place?
They begin roaming around the streets, stopping by chaat stalls, and shops of imitation jewellery and clothes, of course. No girl would deny jewellery and clothes, that too, in the famous fashion street!
Shubhi, Ruhana and Priyanka are the same. Shubhi is stopping at almost all the jewellery shops, trying out different pieces of jewellery. She’s pulling her best friends along. On the other hand, Priyanka has her eyes open for footwear. On the other hand, Ruhana is pouting and Shubhi chides her.
“Why so sullen? Why are you sad?” Shubhi asks.
“Tum dono ne toh apni shopping karli. Mujhe toh kuch nahi mila.” She says sadly.
“You’re so choosy! I chose those earrings for you, you didn’t take.” Shubhi comments.
“I want a handbag! Ek bhi shop nahi aaya!” Ruhana pouts again, causes her friends to laugh.
Ruhana rolls her eyes at them but the two girls laugh, and Priyanka keeps her arm around Ruhana’s shoulder.
“Chill baby! We will get a handbag for you.” She says, trying to convince Ruhana.
“Okay, buy me a handbag, you two.” Ruhana rolls her eyes at Priyanka and Shubhi.
Meanwhile, they reach the end of the street and stop abruptly. Meanwhile, they hear the professors calling for them. They decided to meet at a restaurant on the fashion street. Meanwhile, a certain shop attracted Ruhana. It’s again a bag of handbags. She runs to the shop telling her friends that she will meet them at the restaurant.
Shubhi and Priyanka reach the restaurant, which is a cafe, Cafe Latte. The two girls reach there and take their table. Priyanka messaged Ruhana to reach the cafe soon. Meanwhile, Vineet spots the two girls on the table, but couldn’t see Ruhana. He sighs deeply. He asks them about Ruhana at which they tell her that she’s at a shop and will come soon. He nods and starts looking for other students.
Meanwhile, more than half an hour passes, but there’s no sign of Ruhana around. Shubhi and Priyanka try calling her but the girl isn’t picking up the call. They also tell Vineet who’s panicked by now.
Oh! She’s not talking to him and now she has disappeared. It’s too much punishment for him. Now, he has to find her and also, apologise to her.
She might forgive him — and he can only hope.
