Vineet and Ruhana finish lunch and are talking to each other when his phone rings. He takes the call and turns worried as he hears the caller. He cuts the call and looks at Ruhana and their mom together. Rekha asks him about the matter. He tells the ladies that the annual fest of their college will take place in the Heritage Resort which is on the outskirts of the city. The students, especially the ones who are taking part in the fest, are required to stay in the resort only. It worries Ruhana, her parents may not allow her. To her surprise, her mother pats her cheeks and permits her to go. She holds their hands in hers — both Vineet and Ruhana.
“I trust you! It starts from home. I know, you two are very excited about this fest, so, you can go. I will talk to Papa. He will agree. And yes, we will be on time as well. These are the only memories which will make you laugh in the future.” Rekha says meaningfully.
“Thanks, Mumma! It means a lot. Don’t worry, we will not do anything that will be problematic for us or for you and Papa.” Ruhana assures her mother.
“I know! I am already so proud of you and Vineet. But, yes, both of you need to be in contact with me. Yeah, you two are grown up but you’re still my kids.” Rekha says.
“Yes Maa! We will call you. But there’s still time, we have to move in there the day after tomorrow. Rest details will be told in the college tomorrow.” Vineet says.
‘Yeah, I have rehearsals for skit tomorrow, Mumma!” Ruhana informs her mom.
“Okay! Seems like you two are gonna be super busy. But, go and rest for a while.” Rekha taps their heads.
Ruhana and Vineet agree and move to their respective rooms to get some much-needed rest. Ruhana falls asleep but Vineet isn’t able to sleep. He’s tossing and turning in the bed and thinking about the happenings in his life. Lately, he’s trying to mend things with Ruhana. Well, it’s always sorted, but he’s trying to do things in her way. Obviously, he can’t do things the way she does, but he can always try. He only wants his Sunshine girl to be happy. Soonish, sleep overpowers him and he falls asleep.

The days pass in a blur and soonish, it’s the day to head to the Heritage Resort, a day before the annual fest. Ruhana’s mum packs some snacks for them and instructs them to share them while Vineet and Ruhana share naughty glances. Rekha shakes her head and then the two of them leave for the resort. Their dad offers to drop them and they agree. Ruhana and Vineet also remind them to come to the resort for the annual fest. Rekha and her husband agree and instruct them to keep calling them. Vineet and Ruhana nod and they take their leaves.

An hour later, Ruhana’s father drops her and Vineet at the gates of Heritage Resort. He hugs them and asks them to take care of each other and takes his leave. They enter the premises where they spot some teachers and greet them. Ruhana also finds her drama teacher and runs towards her to talk. Vineet also meets the charge to take responsibility around the fest.
The resort is quite big. It has two large buildings with beautiful gardens. The main building has a huge hall where the cultural programs will take place. There are some rooms around the hall which are taken for the rehearsals. All of this is on the ground floor while the rooms on the second floor are booked for the students to stay in. Things seem good. Ruhana moves to her allotted room along with Shubhi and Priyanka. Vineet tells her that his room is opposite hers where he’s staying with Rohan and Abhinav, his long-time best friends.
Ruhana feels safe to have him around. They settle their bags in the room and settle on the bed, rehearsing their lines. Meanwhile, Vineet calls her for lunch and the girls meet at the restaurant at the resort. Everyone’s giggling and enjoying the happy moments. The teachers have announced the timing of the rehearsal starting from evening 4 PM. Everyone is allowed to rest in the afternoon as the journey to the resort has been tiresome and many students have come from large distances as well.
Ruhana and her group decide to meet in the rehearsal hall at 4 PM. They have a lot of things to do before the fest begins the other day. Finishing with lunch, everyone split into their respective rooms, they need to rest well.

It’s Evening, everyone begins to assemble in the hall, there is also an arrangement for tea, coffee and refreshments. Some of the students are seen having refreshments while some of them are discussing their acts. Ruhana is also discussing the dialogues of the skit they have prepared.
Ruhana is reading and modifying the dialogues when a known voice falls in her ears. She looks up at the entrance of the hall and finds Rhea there. Ah! This annoying creature. Ruhana cringes her nose but gets busy in modifying the dialogues of her play.
The play is very close to her heart as she's penned it down. She's reading so that her buddies can hear her and suggest changes. They're busy in their work when they hear Rhea speaking something cringy and inappropriate to others.
Ruhana tries to let go, not wanting to create a scene, but she also knows that Rhea won't back off in creating a scene. She did it too. And Ruhana loses her cool, shouting at the girl, leaving Rhea shocked with her action.
