As we walked down the stairs to leave school for winter break, I couldn't help but smile at the overwhelming happiness I felt.

I was happy. For the first time in five months, I was truly happy.

"We can go to the beach, its nearby. We can also explore the market and go horseback riding. I haven't been on a horse in ages! I miss thunder!" Veronica's excitement oozed through her voice as she listed everything we would do during our break. So far, I was surprisingly looking forward to all of them.

"Horseback riding? Really?"

She nodded, "Mom owned a horse ranch and had two horses, one is mine and the other is Nick's."

I raised my eyebrows at Nicolas, "you ride? I didn't know that!"

He flashed me a smirk, "You don't know a lot, Sia. A lot."

I laughed and turned back to Vee. "So you have two horses?"

She shook her head, "we have those, and six more. Lorenzo took over after my parents passed away and it has grown ever since."

I was awestruck. "I've always wanted to go horseback riding."

She shrugged, "now you can."

I smiled, "did you name them?"

She nodded, "my horse's name is Thunder and Nick's is Wildfire. The others are Magenta, Aurora's, Rain, Lorenzo's, Snowflake, Mateo's, Hercules, Gabriel's, Poseidon and Bullet."

Wow. That's fucking awesome.

"Who's are Poseidon and Bullet?"

She shrugged, "Poseidon is a baby so he's like community ownership. And bullet is a Mustang, so he doesn't play nice with others."

I cocked an eyebrow, "what's a mustang?"

"They are wild horses, untamed. We found Bullet wounded like seven months ago, he almost died but we managed to save him. He couldn't return to the wild so we kept him. He doesn't respond to anyone besides the person who feeds them. And doesn't let anyone ride him."

I nodded, "wow. Do they have enough space to live?"

Nicolas nodded, "three hundred acres of land for them to roam free."

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow.

Before I could respond the roar of an engine made all our heads snap in the same direction.

My jaw dropped, the sight was unbelievable.

I heard Gabriel's laughter next to me and I turned to face him.

"What?"

He smiled, "Lorenzo is such a show off!"

My eyes widened and I stared back at the car, "that's his car?!"

He nodded and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the car.

"But, that's a freaking Lamborghini! A freaking Lamborghini Veneno! Those things are like five million dollars!"

He nodded, "and your daddy basically shits money so that didn't make a difference in his bank account."

I shook my head, "no way!"

He laughed, "Ana, he has like four of those!"

Shut. The. Front. Door.

That, in front of me, is a fucking Lamborghini Veneno.

I sped walked towards the car, pulling Gabriel with me. I noticed a few bystanders lurking around, catching a glimpse of this beauty.
