What exactly have you done?
What misery has lied to you?
What truth has shunned?
There’s nothing to be ashamed of
You’re weakness can only prove your strength
The weaker you seem the strong you are
Think about that with grace
You spoke about the hopeless
Being the root in that word
What happened?
To that fantastic speech?
Where exactly have you heard?
About giving up your only time
To breathe and be alive?
Hush them now
You’re handsome and beautiful all the while.
Trust fall
To me
I am your hope
Your shadow
What you have cast
In moments of disdain
I promise
