Brilliant eyes
Bright smile
Open up dear child
It’s okay, let it rain
Your eyes don’t have to represent the sun
Or should I say stars?
They are blazing with emotions
A ball of gas none the less
But they all have the potential to explode
Exposure to those who care
Don’t worry, these people are there
I’m here
Speak to me
Through poems,
Main,
Through text
I’m available
My life is busy
And I need to rest
But for someone who needs to open up
I have time, always.
There is no toll on me
I’ll behave for you through these
Contact me with a dream
A dream for the best
From my view
I’ve learned
That trusting others in stern
Not the best advice but this is why I expect
Betrayal in the end
Then one day I came across someone
Who brought out my passion
My heart would race, my smile was instant
But then I was the one to blame
I don’t believe there truly is a way to ‘kiss and make up.’
But there is a way to fix situations
And that’s what
I did
I fought
When you find the person or people who care
They can make mistakes
Don’t worry, you can too
The true test, however,
Is in blinding rage
Or overbearing tears
Who exactly will put up a fight
A fight for the better
In marriage the words are
“For better or for worse”
Without marriage
These words can define
Which friends to keep when hurt
When they hurt you once shame on them
When they hurt you twice shame on you
When they hurt you three times
Put up a fight
If the battle is won then they’re worth the fun
If lost
Then it’s up to them to make things right
You have brilliant eyes
A gorgeous smile
And potential
Don’t hide, expose yourself
For you have a life worth living
So live, dear child
