Grace's Point of View:

"L-Lord Darkness and his army have arrived in this city."

I paled hearing that.

"W-What the hell! Really?" I asked, standing up.

"Yes!" she replied.

"Oh goodness! What will happen now?" Gratala said, with a big frown on her face.

Casper and Andrew entered my room; Casper had a small bottle in his hand.

"Grace, drink this. And when you see Lord Darkness in his eyes, say the word 'Selianox.' Do wait for the right moment," he said, and I took the bottle from him.

"I have to drink it now?" I asked.

"Yeah."

I opened the bottle and drank the potion. It was green colored and tasted very bad. I started coughing.

"Are you okay?" Andrew said, touching my cheek.

I nodded.

Valia and Emilia ran into the room.

"Guys! Lord Darkness and his army are in front of this house," Emilia said with terror on her face.

A chill passed through my spine. So, the time has come for me to face him.

I wrapped my arms around Andrew.

What if I die?

"I love you very much," I said.

"I love you too. I want you to stay safe," he said, with tears in his eyes.

"Don't worry about me. I'll be fine," I said, wiping his tears.

I hugged everyone. I'll never forget them. I hope all of them stay safe.

We all walked out of my room and entered the living room.

Someone knocked on the door.

"I'll open it," Andrew said and opened the door.

Elizabeth entered.

"Will you all please come out, my dears?" she had a fake smile plastered on her face.

I wanted to punch her face badly.

We all looked towards each other with frowns.

I nodded at them and walked out. They followed me.

"What a disgusting sight!" Lord Darkness said.

I gaped looking at him. He was so tall, literally a monster.

The sky was filled with crows. The sun was about to set soon.

Lord Darkness stood around the Slaves of Darkness.

I can't believe I am in front of him.

Lord Darkness walked towards me with a smile and stopped.

"I believe one of my slaves is on your side now," he said, looking at Andrew with hate.

He wasn't looking in my eyes.

"Step forward," he said in his deep voice.

Should I do what he said?

Without thinking further, I stepped forward.

"Grace Mallory Wincarian. Such a shame that you are a part of my family. A fangless vampire? You are a disgrace to this family, Grace."

"Zachary, Sarah, step forward. Don't you both want to greet your lovely daughter," He said, chuckling.
