Christina Pov:
I woke up on a hard warm chest, looking up I saw Sebastian's sleeping face smiling I watched him silently tracing my fingers over his chest lightly.
"that feels amazing" Sebastian said opening his eyes and looking down at me,
"oh - sorry, did I wake you?" I asked sitting up,
"no, its fine come on, today you're new diet is starting" he said, "come on lets go make you some breakfast" he said standing up, I followed him out to the kitchen,
"do you want to go and have a shower?" he asked smiling,
"yeah, sure okay" I said turning on my heel and walking upstairs and into Sebastian's room, grabbing one of his hoodies, a pair of jeans and a singlet I headed into the bathroom and turned the hot water on instantly steaming up the room, stepping under the water I sighed as it cascaded down my back warming me up instantly. Getting out of the shower I got dressed quickly practically swimming in Sebastian's hoodie, running my brush through my hair, taking in a deep unsteady breath, I headed back downstairs.
"hey that smells good" I said walking into the room where Sebastian was cooking "can I help?" I asked,
"I'm nearly done, you should have said you wanted to help" he said smiling as he served up the fluffy eggs,
"wow, you know for someone who has such a 'bad boy' act you sure are an amazing cook" I said grinning, I leant over the bench shovelling the food up with a fork and forcing it into my stomach which was attempting to reject the food. I heard booming laughter come from the corridor before the door opened, I turned in curiosity and met the eyes of the man who had kicked me the other day, Bear.
I stiffened and I felt Sebastian move restlessly beside me, Bear froze and stared at me,
"uhh - umm - I'm sorry for the other day" he stuttered awkwardly,
"I - I guess that's okay, I mean I suppose that would be any ones reaction to having a rogue on their territory"
"yeah, I - did you heal up okay?" he asked wincing,
"yeah, I'm fine" I said we glanced at each other before a giggle slipped out of my mouth, he raised a single eyebrow at me before we both burst into laughter, he deep laugh echoing through the room, I fell to the ground howling with laughter,
"I - t-think- that - was the most - awkward thing - I've ever been through" I cried struggling back to my feet and clutching to Sebastian for support, a small smile played at his lips as he watched Bear and I,
"truce?" I asked walking over to him and sticking my hand out boldly despite the fact I felt like running,
"yeah sure" he said gruffly a grin spreading across his face,
"awesome" I said giving his hand a quick shake before leaping towards him and wrapping my arms around his large body my arms not reaching the whole way around, Sebastian let out a warning growl behind us,
"oops, sorry" I said grinning sheepishly at him letting go of Bear, "do you want a hug too?" I asked skipping over to him and wrapped my arms around him like Bear I coudn't get my arms the whole way around him either,
"much better" he said softly resting his head on my shoulder inhaling my scent,
I heard Bear laughing behind us,
"what are you laughing at?" I asked turning to face,
"never - in - my - life has Alpha Sebastian hugged someone gently" he said holding back his laughter, "you really are one of a kind Christina, first you walk into the land of a vicious pack, then you decide it'd be a good idea to defy the Alpha who you find out is your mate then you walk into the pack house alone still smelling of rogue and you still had the lady balls to growl at my while I went of the defense" he said chuckling "not to mention, you've turned our big bad Alpha into a marsh mellow it a matter of days"
"hey, I'm pretty talented alright? I have amazing skill when it comes to taming beasts" I said winking at Bear as I grinned up at Sebastian who had an eyebrow raised,
"beast am I?" he asked trapping me in his iron like grip,
"what do you know, he can hear too. Isn't that weird?" I asked Bear, he just shook his head chuckling,
"I'm out of here, before this gets scary" he muttered turning on his heel,
"you're so mean!" I cried to the closed door.
"You know you do smell, really, really good" Sebastian murmured,
"um - thanks, look Alph- I mean Sebastian, I'm still getting used to the idea of all of this" I said stepping away as he looked at me his eyes flashing gold for a second,
"fine" he said tightly turning to leave,
"wait, you don't understand, you don't get how hard it is for me to pretend like everything is going to be alright, when I know it's not. I meant I left my parents for dead and I can barely trust you my own mate. Its so hard for me to get up and pretend like nothing ever happened to pretend that I've lived here for my whole life and my parents just don't exist, I've barely healed from what those wolves did to me and that was over a week ago I guess that's because I'm sick or whatever. You don't get it you don't know how hard it is for me to even live, my parents have been dead for a week and I haven't been able to mourn not once. I have to stay strong for my brother and myself if I break down now I know I won't be able to do anything anymore, if I stop even for a second to reflect what has happened to me in a damned week I won't be able to handle it" I said shakily tears threatening my eyes "I'm sorry that the idea of other wolves frightens me, I can't help it okay" I whispered,
"okay" Sebastian said tightly nodding his head, "I'll leave you alone for a bit" he said coldly walking past me to get out the kitchen door.
A sob left my lips as I sunk to floor sitting in the kitchen alone staring at the door, "mummy" I whispered "daddy, please come back" I sobbed.
