"So for the auditions all you have to do is sing a song of your choice. Simple enough? Let's get started" Mrs.Everheart explains.

Saturday. There are so many things I could be doing on Saturday. I could be with Kael, I could go shopping, I could be with my boys, but I'm not doing any of that because I'm here.

"I'll be calling you up one by one in alphabetical order. So first one up is Anderson, Kaeleah."

Curse my last name. I walk onto the stage and look at Mrs.Everheart. "Can I leave once I'm done?"

"Yes yes. Just sing."

I rack my brain for a song I could sing. All of the Stars by Ed Sheeran comes to mind. I take a deep breath and begin singing.

"Its just another night, and I'm staring at the moon

Saw a shooting star and thought of you

Sang a lullaby by the waterside and knew

The way our hori-"

"Enough enough, thank you Kaeleah. You may go now." Mrs.Everheart cuts off my singing.

I walk off the stage and out the auditorium.

I take my phone out of my purse and call Ray. He picks up on the third ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ray, what are you doing?"

"I'm kinda busy right now Kaeleah."

"Oh, well what are you doing?" I wonder what's up. Ray never uses my full name.

"Something alright. Look I'll call you later." He says and hangs up.

Geez, rude much? I decide to call Tyler. It goes straight to voice-mail. Sighing I get into my truck and start it up.

What to do, what to do. Oh,I'll call Ryan.

He picks up on the second ring.

"Hey Ryan speaking."
