30. A Back Stabber

Hana's POV

He kissed her. I saw them kiss...

My heart hurts. It felt as if it was breaking. The longer I thought about it, the worse it felt.

I can't breathe

I'm running, but I don't know where to. As long as I'm away from them...

Suddenly I tripped and fell onto the cold hard ground. I screamed and I cried out in pain. My emotional pain was stronger than my physical pain, so I didn't care about the fall. I slowly looked up and noticed a figured standing right in front of me.

Please don't be Genji...

It was a man that I have never met before.

I immediately wiped away my tears and my snot running down my nose.

"A-Are you okay Miss?" He said worriedly. I turned my cheek the other way and responded, "Yes. I'm fine. Thank you for your concern."

He didn't buy my bullshit response.

"Well you don't seem too happy... Do you want to talk it out with someone?"

I shook my head to his question. But then he kneeled towards me— helping me analyze his face— and broke out a catchy smile.

I then felt my physical pain disappear. My eyes grew in shock.

"My name is Lucio! What's yours?" He said.

"M-my name is Hana... Hana Song." A huge gasp came out of his mouth. "The Hana Song?!" I awkwardly smiled, "uh- y-yeah?..."

"No way! I'm your biggest fan!"

Huh?...

My head tilted to the side with confusion. "You know who I am?"

He smiled, "of course! You're the best gamer in the world, who wouldn't recognize you?!" I slightly smiled from all the compliments. But it didn't help me forget what just had happened. I lowered my head. I figured he noticed.

"H-hey... let's go inside. It's freezing, I don't want you to get sick." He stuck out his hand for mine.

I wasn't sure if I should take his hand or not, but I did anyway. The palm of my hand fit into his. The heat of his hand transferred into mine.

He then pulled me up so I could stand. For a second, my legs went numb, causing me to wobble around.

"W-woah?!..." I said.

"Haha..? You okay?"

I faked a laugh, "yeah, my legs are just numb from the cold."

I noticed him look me from top to bottom. Then suddenly...

"AHH- OH MY GOSH! WHAT ARE YOU-?!?"

He grabbed me and threw me on his shoulders. He gave no reaction.

"L-LUCIO?!?" I laughed but raised my voice. He chuckled and smiled.

Genji's POV

Hana...

Her back turned to me and the last thing I knew, she sprinted off.

"Wait! Hana... please!"

I then turned around to look at Angela. She had the look of guilt written all over her face. Angela spoke out, saying that she should talk to Hana and apologize. I shook my head. "She wants to be alone right now..."

I'm so stupid...

How did I manage to hurt the most caring girl on the planet?

From the distance, I heard a loud pitch scream. It was where Hana ran off to. My eyes widened.

"HANA?!"

I took off.

I'm coming Hana...

Genji was sprinting to where he heard the scream come from. As he got closer, he was able to hear a faint laugh. But that didn't slow him down.

He just turned the corner, when all of a sudden he sees Hana giggling and laughing with a strange man. Genji hears Hana telling the man to put her down, but she wasn't being put on the ground. The cyborg then steps forward and intrudes.

"I'm sure she would like to be put down." He said seriously.

Lucio and Hana glanced at the cyborg. Hana's eyes widened with hate and sadness. Lucio noticed Hana's eyes getting watery.

"I'm sure this doesn't involve you. So now, please carry on." Lucio stated with a friendly smile.

Hana was looking at Genji as she was still on Lucio's shoulders.

"She said to put her down. Listen to the lady."

Lucio gently let Hana down. "Listen Mr. Robot man, I don't think—"

A punch struck Lucio from Genji, causing him to fly a few feet.

"GENJI?!?" Hana yelled out at him, "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!"

Hana ran towards Lucio.

Genji turned confused, but at the same time he became jealous from seeing Hana worried about another man. It made his inner demon mad.

Hana kneeled down next to Lucio, "Are you okay?! Is anything broken?! I am so—..."

Lucio chuckled, "haha.. that was nothing!" He then said out loud, "healing boost"

Genji's demon was breaking through his human self. Once he was out, he slowly walked towards the other two. The others were distracted, until Genji was close enough. He stood right behind Hana. Genji drew out his sword and raised it. He swung towards Hana.

Lucio screamed, "HANA WATCH OUT!"

Hana turned around and watched her life flash right before her eyes.

Immediately, Lucio took out his weapon and booped Genji a few feet away.

Lucio stood up and told Hana to get behind him. She listened to his command.

"You know, people don't like back stabbers." Lucio said to Genji.

Genji growled, "leave me alone! Th-this isn't me!... I- I AM TURNING! RUN!..."
