25. A Gift

Two months went by in the blink of an eye. OverWatch was still under surveillance, and there was still no sign of Talon anywhere. The organization was disbanded, but Winston, Angela, and Hana stayed at HQ. With the disappearance of Lena, Winston has been working on a new device to bring her back. Angela, of course, helped him. But Hana was never around to help, or to even chat with. Ever since Genji left with Zenyatta to Nepal, she has been distancing herself from others. The only time the other two members would see her was at dinner, but then once Hana was finished eating, she would get up and leave. Angela would sometimes try to start a conversation with her, but usually there would be no response. 

"Hey Hana, why don't we go out to the mall? I'm sure it will be fun!" Angela asks the teenage girl. Before the question was asked, Hana was in the kitchen getting a can of Mountain Dew. "Hmm?"

"Yeah! lets go?" The angel asked again. Hana shook her head, "I-I don't think I am up to it, I am busy."

"Aww come on! It's Friday, why don't you take a break?... Please?"

Hana scratched the back of her head and sighed. "Hm.. maybe I can go for just an hour?..."

Angela let out a huge smile and cheered with joy, "Yay! Now go get ready, we leave in 15 minutes".

The teenage girl sighed and cracked open the can of Mountain Dew, she then walked upstairs to get ready to go to the mall.

Hana's POV

I really do not want to go, but Angela just seems so excited. I could never say no to her innocent face...

I began to strip off my clothes and searched for something to wear. I went through my closest and found a cute but casual top, with long light blue jeans. I then grabbed some comfy white shoes and slid them on my feet. 

A knock came from the outside of my door. 

"I'm waiting on you Hana!" A joyful voice stated.

I responded, "Alright, I am almost ready."

All that was left was my hair. I decided to put it up in a ponytail. I grabbed a hair tie and gathered up my long brown hair. I placed my ponytail high, so throughout the day it would not sag. To spice it up, I clipped a pastel pink bow on the top.

Finally, I was done. 

I placed my phone in the back of my pocket, and grabbed a small purse to stash my hand-gun in, and of course, I threw in other essentials like gum, makeup, money, or pads. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU'LL NEED THEM! ( safety first ladies (-; )

Once I had everything I needed, I went downstairs to let Angela know I was ready to go.
