5. Lullaby

Hana was on the ground crying "NOOO!" She punched the ground "PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME! PLEASE COME BACK TO ME!"

Genji stood and watched her, feeling sorry and sad for her.

"DAD....DADDY PLEASE!... COME BACK! PLEASE DONT BE DEAD!" Memories rushed inside her head.

"Hey daddy? What does this do?-"

"Now Hana, if any boy tries hitting on you, you tell me okay?"

"Here ya go sweetie~ Happy Halloween!"

"Happy Father's Day Dad!"

"I love you Hana..." Jack said before leaving.

She lifted her head up "is this...how it feels like...to be dead?..."

Genji walked to her and kneeled down on his knees. He didn't know what to do or, what to say, all he did was hug her. Hana didn't move. She sat there as her tears fell off her cheeks.

"H-Hana...I am sorry for your lost..." he said without trying to choke on his sentence. "Not only did I lose my dad... but I also lost my uncle..." she faked a laugh "what a great life... it's true...the past does repeat itself". She then mumbled out "I-i.. want to die..."
Genji got furious from her response. He shook her and looked into her sad broken eyes "HANA! NEVER SAY THAT AGAIN! YOU HEAR ME?! YOU ARE WAY TOO YOUNG TO BE DEAD! WOULD JACK AND GABE LIKE THAT?! I DONT THINK SO! THEY WOULD WANT YOU TO BE THE STRONG GIRL YOU ARE!"

Hana looked into his eyes "...they are dead genji...dead...nothing can bring them back now...they are not coming back..."

"Yes...but Hana-"

"But nothing... I'm going to my room now." She broke the hug and walked off into her room while saying goodnight to Genji. He watched her go up the stairs and into her room. Of course, he was worried about her. So just in case, Genji went up stairs and sat next to Hana's door. After what she said, Genji didn't trust her being alone.

Hours past and nothing bad happened. Genji slowly fell asleep. But then...

A beautiful voice was heard from inside the room. Genji stood by and listened to the soft voice.

"Why do people fight..they all act as if it's right, don't they know that's no way to live..."

Genji couldn't resist listening to her voice. He cracked open her door and peaked through to see what she was doing. She was on the balcony looking into the distance as she sang. Genji stared at the young girl, but as he stared, his arm slipped and his whole body pushed open the door.

Hana immediately stopped singing and turned to the door. "G-genji..." her eyes were watery. Genji looked up at Hana from the floor "I'm sorry...I-I heard your beautiful voice... and...and I couldn't resist..." he blushed. She rubbed her eyes hoping he didn't notice her crying. Hana smiled "it's fine...would you like to hear more?"

"Of course!"

Hana waved him over to sit on a chair, he got up and did what she said.

She took a deep breath. "Ill sing in your memory...all the time you spent with me, crying deep inside...silently... for you..." she sang out with emotion. Meanwhile, Genji was staring at the young girl who was singing her heart out. He noticed another side to her. Loneliness.

A couple minutes later Hana stopped singing. "You should get some rest..." she softly told Genji.

"I'm not sleeping until you do. Plus I can't let you out of my sight after what you said earlier..."

Hana blushed and looked out into the world "then sleep here...". The man's face turned red "UH-HU-...." he quickly nodded "i-ill sleep on the floor! A-and just make sure you're okay!" He kept bursting out random sentences trying not to make it awkward. Hana agreed "alright...ill head to bed first". She got up from the balcony and walked to her bed. She got the main covers off of her bed and folded them to make a small comfy blanket bed for Genji. Then, Hana finished it off with a nice fluffy bunny pillow. "Here ya go!"

Genji laughed "thank you Hana~"

She lightly blushed and slipped into her bed "goodnight Genji..."

"Goodnight Hana... sleep well..."
Hana slowly doze off and dreamt. In her dream, a bright light appeared. Then a black figure walked in front of it.

"Daddy..."
