Chapter 53
Finnick Pov.
We start the plan, Katniss and Peeta try to go together instead of splitting up. I know they were planning on leaving or trying to kill us. But we can't tell either of them what's really going to happen. Haymitch told me that it's better if they don't know, apparently Katniss has a habit of messing things up. Katniss and Johanna go. Something goes wrong with the coil, it came back. It's been cut. I don't know where any of them are, Peeta ran off and a cannon was fired. Beetee was blown back by the tree.
"KATNISS?!" I scream, "KATNISS?!"
I finally find her, back by the tree. Her bow and arrow aimed at me, I can only think of one thing to convince her to stop what she's doing. "Remember who the real enemy is!"
She stops, she grabs the spear, what is she doing? She shoots it at the sky. The force field has exploded. The hovercraft picks us up. I don't know where Johanna, Enobaria, or Peeta are. All I know is that I'll be with Annie soon.
