Chapter 42
Annie Pov.
"Good morning," I say to Finnick.
"Hi," He says.
"You have to go now huh?" I ask.
"Yup," he gets ready, gives me a hug goodbye and goes to training.
I leave the room to see Xavier and Kim sitting next to each other at the dining table drinking their coffee.
"So how was your first date?" I ask them.
"Horrible, that's why we're getting along so well right now," Xavier says sarcastically.
"Spark?" I ask Kim. She nods. "Yay!"
She smiles.
"So that was the secret yesterday?" Xavier asks.
"Duh," I say and roll my eyes. I can be sarcastic too.
I sit down and my mom brings me breakfast. I don't know what happened to Larry, but he hasn't been here for two years now. I can only guess one thing that could've happened to him...
Finnick gets back from training and takes me to the roof right away. Kim and Xavier show up.
"Could we join in on your picnic?" Xavier asks.
"No," Finnick jokes.
"Not cool, not cool." Xavier shakes his head in disappointment.
"Just kidding, come sit down."
They sit next to us and we all talk and have fun.
