Chapter 22
Annie Pov.
When Katniss and Peeta do their interview, Katniss finds out that Peeta's leg had to be amputated. She gets upset and they watch their games. She buries her head in Peeta's chest, not wanting to keep watching. Caesar finally gets her to come out from her little hiding spot. What would I do if they made me do my interview? Bury my face in the couch probably. For some reason when Peeta talks about Katniss it comes naturally, like he means it. When Katniss talks about Peeta she stutters and doesn't always seem to know what to say. So either Peeta is just quicker on his feet, or Katniss doesn't really know what feelings she has towards him. For some reason when I look at them, I don't see the same thing that Finnick and I have. But I guess what we have is rare. I just don't know, but when I watch them, I don't see real love. Well, from Peeta I do, not from Katniss. I can't stop myself from thinking, was Katniss pulling out the berries as an act of love, or rebellion?
