Annie Pov.

Finnick is killing like crazy. I couldn't imagine having to do what he's doing right now. He has now killed six out of twenty three people. I'm glad that he's close to coming home, but I'm worried. He seems so different in the arena. He doesn't seem gentle, or kind, or merciful like he was to me when I almost drowned. He's a killer. I don't know how to react to it. He's so different. It's like Finnick looks like himself but he's not himself. I thought he would look guilty for killing innocent people but he doesn't. I can't watch him act like a barbaric killer that I know he's not. He threw spears into peoples' guts, threw tridents into their heads. This is not the guy I met two years ago who saved me, this is a guy who can kill with a quick throw of a deadly weapon.
