The Trap Chapter 32

Marina's POV

We stood there in the ruins of our ice/fire castle. i breathed heavily. I looked around no one knew what to do. Alyssa came and rested her hand on my shoulder. I heard a far off cackle which scared me. I lifted my head up alert. I cant believe it. Under our nose the whole time! It was Llilly. Than reality snapped back. " Ok Aqua, Alyssa you guys need to get to your homes and we need to get to mine". Aqua opened her mouth to say something but quickly shut it. We ran off into the woods. Trees smacking us in all directions. Soon I just ran in front to burn all the trees in our way. We ran through the woods. The woods glowed a green as animals were lively at this hour. The birds were chirping, the little lizards leaping on every dried out leaf. We were running, I listened to the sound of the leaves crackling under our feet. Soon we reached a familiar beach. The salty air in our faces. We decided to coninue to run. Soon we hit Aqua's house. They both ran inside and we continued to run to my house. We soon reached the front door. I took a deep breath and smoothed out the front of my red dress. I opened the door quickly and we ran inside and shut the door before anyone could see us. Dad looked at us and his eyes grew wide. Than stepmom saw us and her eyes bulged out. "What are you doing here?" dad said as he pulled us into a hug. "And where did you get those outfits?" asked stepmom. Than we heard small running footsteps. There was Roxy. Her face was red as if she was recently crying. She ran into my arms and touched my tiara that was shimmering on my head. I hugged her tight and spinned her around. My red dress flowing and spinning. She hugged me tighter around my neck. "Sissy I missed you". Dad and stepmom was now closing the curtains. "You girls have no idea, they have been looking out for you. Because you were gone for so long they thought that you would become dangerous, they have armed men out looking for you!" I gasped and nearly dropped Roxy. I put her down but she continued to have her hands out reaching for me to pick her up. "But were just teenagers!" Luna cried. "Yeah teenagers who pop a tail and nearly froze aand blew up a courthouse" said stepmom. We all stopped and glared at her. "You girls need to go now"said dad. "But Lilly our cousin said that she was going to be blowing us the whole town by no-" than I stopped. I realized something. This was a trap. She wanted us to get discovered. She wanted us to get discovered. "We need to go, somethings not right its a trap!" I cried. Right than the doorbell rang. Followed by a harsh knock. "Open up this is the POLICE"! Said the man on the other side of the door. I gasped. Luna clasped her hand over her mouth and Roxy was hiding behind me. "Girls go, go" whipspered Dad. He shoved us upstairs to our rooms. The officers began to kick down the door. It took a couples times but by the time we were shoved into the hallway closet we heard the door bust open. Roxy let out an ear piercing scream. We heard muffled voices downstairs almost as if they were arguing.

Luna's POV

" This is hopeless they will open up this closet you know they will" I spoke. Marina let out a sigh. "I know". I decided to keep quiet. Soon though we heard the officers voice down the hall. My heart sped up as I put my hand over my mouth and shut my eyes. We heard the shuffling go right up to the cabinet. We heard the bathroom door open and than came our door. The door opened harshly and the officer was surprised to see us sitting on the floor. He reached down and grabbed us when I made and ice shield to block our heads. "Get them!" the officer yelled. I decided to scare them. I let out a scream and Marina understood what I was doing because she stood up and yelled at them. This reminds me of those freaky movies where the demon enters the girl's body. She she screamed louder as she made light come to her hands and than shot it up into the ceiling. We began to run. However there was no where to run to. Than we saw it down the hallway was a lone window. The officers were now yelling at us to stop. However we went for it. We ran and jumped down I created a thick pile of snow for us, however that got the outside cops attention. We landed on the fluffy white and got up immediately. We started to run we didnt know where but we ran. We ran down the sidewalk. Everyone moved out of our way. The cops turned on their lights and began to chase us. The sirens made me more scared. We continued to run untill we were on a busy street. Cars stopped and honked at us. Until we reached an intersection. Helecopters were now flying and we could see news vans following the police. We stopped because we cant get hit. Than we made a run for it. The cops were right on our tails. My hair was flying all over the place and I was sweating like crazy. However the sweat immediatly turned into ice. We continued to run until a random car came and hit me. I screamed as the car barely hit me but I lost my balance and fell on the car. The metal smashing against the side of my face and I fell off. I heard Marina screaming in the back. I saw that where I fell intricate ice designs began to form. As the man got out of his car to help me up he saw the ice and dropped me. A croud of people, and news reporters began to form around us. Marina squated next to me having her hands up as if she was going to attack whoever came near me. I knew she wasnt though. I sat up I was a little dizzy but I was alright. The cops than came with mean but intrigued faces. They picked us up and I gulped. They held me by the wrists while another cop came and held a hand to his gun to scare us. Than amongst the whispering croud I saw Lilly. He hair down in curls and a devilish, even more than Aqua smile. Than she held a finger to her lips. I screamed. I looked at Marina and she was tugging at the officer. Than I used a bit of ice which scared the officer. He took his hands off and I yelled pointing to where Lilly was just standing. "shes here she will kill you all" I yelled. But Lilly wasnt there anymore. I froze scared. I let the officer put handcuffs to my back and shove me into a science car. All the while I was murmuring "she was right there". Me and Marina were placed in a science car and was being taken to a lab
