Sooo this is the first post of the year for me... lol but sorry it's been like two months. I hope all of you are doing well.

PLEASE READ!!
After all of you are done reading this I would like you're help with something. Since all of you are so awesome, I would like to do something for you... in the comments, I would like for all of you to come up with some ideas on what you would like the next chapter to be about. What would you like to see? I'm doing this because it will be one of the last chapters and I'd like for all of you to enjoy it and have a say in it. I will write the chapter based on the idea (or similar idea) that I see the most. So think carefully!! I think this will be fun and interesting :)

Thank you all again for being so awesome! I love you all! Now enjoy this semi longer than usual chapter.

Love,
El

My cup of coffee rested in my hands as I looked out the kitchen window. It looked like it was a nice day today, but I haven't been outside yet.

Ever since the Nolan incident that happened a few weeks ago, Dylan and Scott had made sure that there were security guards now around the house. Apparently, the alarm system on the house wasn't enough anymore. Which was understandable considering what had happened, but I was tired of seeing them just standing there everyday. They looked so bored.

A pair of arms wrapped around my waist and I leaned back into his body. I closed my eyes for a moment, enjoying being in his arms.

"They're here to make sure nothing happens." Dylan whispered as he kissed my shoulder.

"I know, babe." He turned me around so now I was leaning against the counter.

"Tell me what's going on." Dyl pushed back a few strands of my hair.

"I've just been thinking about a lot lately."

"Like..." I sighed and set my cup down, resting my hands on the back of his neck.

"Everything." When he just watched me I went on. "Lately I've been thinking about my dad. Like is he ever going to speak to me again? Then I think about your career and hope that I don't get in the way of that." He tried to speak, but I kept going. "Because you stopped everything for the past couple of weeks because-"

"I put everything on hold, gorgeous. Not stopped." He shook his head and put one of his hands on the side of my face, slowly running his thumb over my cheeks

"I'm serious, Dyl. I feel like I'm getting in the way of your career. A successful one."

Dylan locked eyes with me for a moment before shaking his head. When he didn't say anything I opened my mouth to say something, but he kissed me.

"Just shhh." He placed a finger over my lips and I smiled, to which he returned.

His big hand clasped around mine as he pulled me through the house. We went up the stairs and then he stopped for a second in front of Chase's door. He slowly opened the door.

Our son was peacefully sleeping in his crib. I smiled softly and gently pushed back the little hair he had.

Dylan's arms wrapped around my torso and he rested his head against mine. My body leaned into his and I wanted to live in this moment forever.

"You and him are my priority." He whispered softly. I put my hands over his. "Which is why everyone else can be put on hold. For however long it takes because I'm not letting anything happen to the two of you. Ever. Not again." He turned me around. "Got that?" I put both hands on the side of his head.
