Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. - Isaiah 40:30-31

This scripture is wonderful. It is assuring to know that being young and stressed is not strange. God already expected "young men" to be exhausted and that youths would "faint and be weary". No I know I am not strange. I have a hard week ahead of me. Because I have a debate tournament this weekend, it guarantees a more difficult week. With more debate homework, many upcoming quizzes, multiple tests, several projects, and a weekend full of work and sleep deprivation ahead, there is little to look forward to. Yeah, I am stressed. It is so reassuring to know that God will "renew [my] strength" and shall help me stand on my own feet and continue fighting the good fight. Are you stressed out? Don't worry, you're not alone. You have me fighting with you and God always fighting with you. Use this scripture in times of need and push past this hard week ahead.
