Bea's To Do List #24: Keep calm on opening night
"Bea, I'm just trying to help."
"I don't need help."
"Everyone needs some help every once in a while."
"Well I don't. Just go do whatever you have to do."
"Helping you is what I have to do."
"Says who?"
"Says everyone."
"Like who?"
"Like Dale and Madi and Kate."
"Did Mr. Daniels?"
"Um..."
"Did Mr. Daniels say that my 'well being' was your responsibility?"
"No."
"I'm sorry, I didn't hear you. What did he say?"
"No, he did not say that your well being was my responsibility."
"Then you should go away."
"Bea, I can't do that."
"Let me rephrase that, you should go away before I hurt you."
"I can't do that."
"Why did they even choose you anyway?"
"Because I'm your assistant stage manager and I work with you the most."
"But you don't even know me."
"I know you well enough. At least well enough to do this job."
"I know for a fact that you don't know me well enough."
"What?"
"If you knew me well enough, you would know that stress wasn't making me act like this."
"Then what is making you act like this?"
"You shouldn't have to ask."
"Bea-"
"Go back to work."
