cuts leave wounds
some deeper than other
some heal quickly
other heal slowly
sometimes the wound gets infected
you poke and prod it knowing you shouldn't
reopening the wound
its not going to heal until you stop
some wounds are shallow
they heal quickly
witout much pain
others are deeper
and take more time to heal
some leave scars
even though the pain went away
the scar is still there
a reminder of the pain you went through
scars are reminders of the pain
it never goes away
but you're still here
or you wouldn't have that scar
not all wounds can be healed with time
