"Sigurado ka na ba diyan sa desisyon mo?" Muling tanong niya sa akin.
Naiirita na nga ako eh pang sampung beses na nga niyang tinanong pero tinatanong niya pa rin.
"For the tenth time my answer is yes okay kaya sige na payagan mo na ako." Paki usap ko sa kanya.
He heaved a sigh bago siya nag salita.
"I think you're not yet ready we just come here the other day and now you want to work? Are you really sure about that? " Tanong niya ulit. I rolled my eyes for that question.
"What do you want me to do para lang payagan mo akong mag trabaho dun?"
Nagkatinginan muna sila ni Lean bago niya ulit binaling yung tingin niya sa akin.
"All I want you is to tell me the truth!"
Truth? I looked at him confusedly because I don't get what he really meant by that.
"That you want to work on that restaurant because you wanted to and you're not just doing it just to keep yourself busy for you to forget about what happened between you and Jc."
Bigla akong sumimangot dahil sa sinabi niya 'twas my ambition to work there. Okay! I admit it there's a part of me that I want to keep myself busy for me to move on.
"It's my dream to work there ever since I was studying in college kaya sige na please payagan mo na ako." I said pleading with puppy eyes.
Try ko lang kung eepekto sa kanya to. Tahimik lang si Lean at walang imik dun sa isang tabi. Hindi siya supportive ano! Ahmft! Kaibigan ko ba talaga yan?
"Sige na tsaka sabi mo na nga rin diba we came here to ease the pain I feel and to forget those bad things that happened in my life."
Bumuntong hiniga muna siya bago nagsalita.
"Okay! Okay! Wala rin naman akong magagawa."
"YES!" I said with excitement.
Dahil sa sobrang tuwa napatayo agad ako at niyakap silang dalawa. Umiling lang si Lean habang nakangiting nakatingin sa akin.
