"So this is the master bedroom, across is the second bedroom. Bathroom is down here to the left, any questions?" We were currently getting a tour of our new home. Since we decided not to return with our tails tucked between our legs, we got a place out here. Freddy was already in love with the city, he wasn't going back. Even if I dragged him back kicking and screaming.

"Nope, we're good." I get handed the keys, and watch as Freddy jumps into the pool with all his clothes on.

"Very well. Well you have my number, call me if you need me?" The realtor lady winked at me, placed her hand on my arm before she walked out. I shuttered once she was gone. I still can't handle being touched by woman in that manor, I have issues I know. I wonder if there's a pill for this?

"Yo! Freddy! Get your ass out the pool! We gotta go job hunting!" He groaned but got out. I watched as he took his clothes off before heading inside. Now there is a naked Freddy walking around the house. To make it worse, the movers are looking at me with an 'are you kidding?' Look. "I'll make sure you get tipped properly for that unfortunate view."

"Thank you!" They all say in unison

"You owe me three hundred bucks." I grumbled as we walked down the streets looking for jobs. Turning applications and resumes everywhere with a sign.

"Yeah yeah. I wasn't the one who gave the movers a hundred each." He stuck his hands in his pocket as he looked around. I couldn't help but laugh at how big his eyes got. Willow Creek was nothing like the city.

"Hey look." I pointed to a 'Dave's auto body & Tire repair'. There was a big help wanted sign hanging on the side of the building.

"Let's go man!" We ran across the street, ignoring the angry drivers, and walked inside the shop. "Hello?"

"Hi, how can I help you?" A friendly looking middle aged man came up to us. He was wiping his hands on an old rag. His brown eyes showing nothing but kindness in him.

"Hello, we saw your help wanted sign on the side of the building." Freddy pointed to the roof, as if the sign was going to show up.

"Oh yeah. Couple of my guys quit on me last minute. I've been swamped. You boys know anything about cars?" After that he gave a small interview, and a quick test to see if we knew our stuff. "Alright. Can you start right away?"

"Hell yeah!" We both said at the same time. He handed us some coveralls, and we got to work. Not gonna lie, I missed working on cars. It was the first thing I did for myself that I actually loved to do.

"Wow, you boys are good." He stood behind us as we got to work on 2001 Chevy Silverado. I was changing the oil, and Freddy was working on one of the tires. When we work on cars, we get in the zone, so we didn't really hear him. It was like this for the rest of the day, until Dave told us it was quitting time. I hadn't even realized how late it was.

"Man! I missed the smell of oil and rubber in the morning."

"And that explains a lot." He punched me in the arm, but we both laughed.

"Thank you boys for your help today." Dave came out of the office, and handed us some forms. "Fill this out, and bring them back tomorrow. We open shop at 8 am everyday, and close at five. Can you handle it?" Me and Freddy looked at each other, before looking back at Dave.

"You got it." We both said at the same time. He smiled at us, before waving good bye. We walked all the way back home, but luckily it wasn't far.

"Shower!" It was the first thing he said as he ran inside the house. He started stripping the second we set foot inside the house. One thing I learned about Freddy, he likes being naked.

I heard the water running upstairs, and decided to head to my room to shower too. The movers did a great job, so they deserved the tip. I found my towels, and shampoos. I started making my way to my bathroom, when my phone started ringing. I answered it without looking at the screen first.

"Hello?"

"Carter." I smiled once I knew who it was. I placed my stuff down, and sat down on my bed.

"Hey angel." I couldn't help but smiled. He actually called me. I was sure he would wait a while before he called.

"Are you busy? Should I call another time?" Still as nerves as ever. I'm glad not much has changed about him. I would hate myself if he became a different person because of me.

"Ethan, you can calm me any time. I told you. Even if you just want to hear my voice at three in the morning, I will answer." I would give him the world if he asked me to.

"Okay. How are you?" I smiled at the sound of his voice. I could tell he was smiling on the other end of the phone.

"I found a job."

"Really?! Does that mean you're still in the city?!" I loved hearing the happiness and excitement in his voice. I could swear he was sitting next to me, talking as if nothing had happened. I placed a hand over my eyes, but I could still feel a stray tear slip through my fingers. "Carter? Are you still there?" I wiped the tear away. Even though he can't see me, I won't cry anymore.

"Yeah, I'm good. Just a little tired. I was actually gonna grab a quick shower before you called." If I know my Ethan, and I do, he was blushing that adorable shade of pink.

"Oh okay, um, call me when you're done." After promising to call back, we hung up. I made my way into the bathroom, and started the shower. I stripped down to nothing, and stared at my reflection.

I really have gained more muscle since leaving. I was big before, now I'm bigger. I'm not like a body builder big but pretty close. I even started growing out my facial hair. I have a a five o'clock shadow going on. I used to always stay clean shaved. But some how my eyes drifted to the tattoo on my shoulder. The design that took days to get right. The artist heard my reason behind it, and wanted to make it perfect. Staring at it now, she did an amazing job. I placed my hand on the center, right where the meaning was. "One day." One day, I will explain the meaning to him. Show him just how much he has effected me. "Wait for me, Ethan."
