Hi Everyone!

I’m sorry for not uploading but I got exams after exams and assessment after assessment. I’m trying to finish before the last week of May so I don’t have to come in at the first two weeks of June.

Please understand the lack of updates!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy! :)

~ * ~ Alexis’ POV ~ * ~

The house was massive, bigger than the school back home and the Healer’s house. Mum and dad already explain some things to us but I knew they are not telling us the whole story. I knew straight away that the couple’s house was the pack house and they are the “Alpha” of this pack.

Their aura was different just like how dad’s aura is different to mum’s aura. But I never imagine that it will be this huge. I can feel that there are a lot of them staying here.

As I walk around the corridor, a photo caught my eyes. It was a group picture and there was about thousands in the pack as they all try to cramp close to each other to at least fit everyone in. I easily saw mum as she stood between to male with their arms drape around her shoulder but looked awkward.

I grin cheekily as I saw my real dad look like and smirk. “I was right!” I mumble to myself before moving along and exploring the house some more. Everything in the house amazed me and some of it left me speechless.

The most impressive part of the house was the garden. There was different type of plants but they are not vegetable or herbs, just decoration plants like roses. They were all red roses, to be exact.

As I admire the sight in front of me, a flash of yellow caught my eyes. I tilt my head to the side and look at what caught my attention with utter curiosity as I slowly approach it.

I knew instantly that it was a golden blonde hair that caught my eyes but the colour it self seems fake as it looks too yellow to be a natural hair colour. As I round a corner of the rose bush, a guy with a frown on his face was sitting down on the grass deep in thought.

From what I can see, he has a tone body and quite pale skin but that just emphasise his good looks. Taking a step forward was my biggest mistake as I twig snap underneath my foot and the guy looked up at me in surprise. His piercing green eyes stare at me in shock, then curiosity before horror.

I open my mouth to ask his name when she jump to his feet and sprint away. I was too shock to run after him and when I finally snap out of my trace, I sniff the air and realise that the guy was human or I think that’s what humans are suppose to smell like.

“Alexis?” I heard my mum asks behind me. I turn around to see her standing just a few steps away from the door. “Are you alright?” I couldn’t help but notice the worry in her tone and how she looked around the garden with caution look. “We are leaving now; we have a lot of things to sort out.” I smile and nod my head as I followed behind her but not before looking where the guy left.

~ * ~ Cherry’s POV ~ * ~

I found Alexis looking confuse and I couldn’t help but left horrified. The first thing I thought was, a hunter made contact with my daughter and her not knowing what they smell or look like, could lead her into danger. But brush it off as I felt no treat around me.

“So we’ll stay home and do some cleaning while you two do the grocery shopping and enrol everyone to school, deal?” Brian asks while I think about it for a while. I nod my head quickly before he changes his mind.
