Chapter 39 - Talent Show?
Nothing very exciting happened after breakfast. My friends and I just stayed in our rooms talking about all the random things going on in our lives.
"Soo...." Alexis says looking at me.
"What" I say with a mouth full of buttery popcorn.
"You know what we're talking about" Kayla joins in.
"Not really"
"Well, remember the group date we had" I nod at Kayla's question "We didn't get to properly ask what happened that day" Alexis says.
"Like I said before nothing happened" I explain
"Yea right, how do you explain the lovey dovey eyes that Quinn gives you whenever you come in the room"
"What lovey dovey eyes?"
"You know, when he does this" Kayla says while doing some random eye twitching thing "and this" she does some other random eye thing.
"No, it's not like that it's like this" Alexis says giving me the puppy dog eyes.
"Nah ah, you see this is the way he does" Kayla continues while doing her random eye performance
"What do you guys think" Alexis asks Indra and Preet
"I don't know, both of yours is not eyes close, but I would have to say Alexis is more close" Indra explains.
"In your face" Alexis jumps and starts doing a dance in front of Kayla
"Whatever, let's just get to the point"
"Oh yea, why?" Alexis asks again
"How am I supposed to know? I bet you guys have some problems with your vision. I don't recall seeing Quinn giving me the wait wha did you call it... oh yea lovey dowey eyes"
"It's lovey dovey, and how haven't you noticed?" Preet says.
"Preet you too, ok so what he's giving me those eyes. I bet he's glaring at me but you guys with your impaired vision see it as love"
"Ok whatever, let's talk about something else" Indra suggest.
"Finally you say something useful" I laugh as she glares at me
"What's your lucky number?" Kayla asks randomly.
"Mine's..." before I could finish an announcement goes on.
"Could all of the girls please meet in the living room in 10 minutes. There is an important announcement that Mr. Wilson would like to tell you about" someone who I am guessing is a maid says.
"Mr. Wilson?" I question.
"It's either Quinn or his dad" Alexis says.
"Well duh, it's not like Owen Wilson will come here and tell us something" I say
"Well you don't gave to be rude about it" Alexis says is mock anger.
I know that she isn't really angry because no one in our friend group gets offended anymore from my rude comment. Yea anymore, I remember when I had just met them, I don't know what I said. But, all of them excluding Kayla got mad at me.
"Do you think we should change" Kayla says looking down at her very cosy outfit which consisted of sweatpants and a t-shirt.
"I'm not going to" I say pointing to my attire which is very similar to Kayla's.
