"That's it, James. You are grounded." Mrs. Potter said with finality. Young James Potter simply huffed in frustration, while Professor McGonagall looked at the two of them with an amused expression. His mother could be really unreasonable sometimes.

All he did was have a little fun with Snape. But Professor McGonagall had said that this was going too far and had called in his mother.

"Your broom will be taken away." His mother declared.

"But I need it for Quidditch practice." James responded with an innocent look on his face.

"Then no wand."

"I need to use it for school, mother." James slumped lower in his seat. Mrs. Potter sighed. She looked over at Sirius who seemed to be enjoying the exchange between the mother and son.

"Then no Sirius!" Mrs. Potter finally said with a smug expression.

"No Sirius?" Sirius and James spoke up in unison, there eyes wide with terror.

"No Sirius!" James' mother declared once more and Professor McGonagall smiled a little at the two boys.
