Song: Thnks Fr Th Mmrs by Fall Out Boy

Unedited:

Brian woke up to a splitting headache. He could hear the rushing noise of early morning traffic sound, and he could hear the shallow breaths of someone beside him. Wait... someone beside him?

Shifting his body towards the other half of the bed he was in, Brian was met with a horrid sight. A man he had never seen before was laying next to him, and he just so happened to have no clothes on him. Hesitantly looking down at himself, Brian saw that he was also in the nude.

Letting out a shaky breath, he covered his face with his hands and tried to think back to the past events of the previous night. Okay, first he had went to a club with a few of his friends. They were celebrating one of their birthdays.. Lui's, maybe. About thirty minutes into all the partying and such Brian had decided to get himself a drink at the club's bar. There he met a guy who was on his third or fourth drink of the night. His name was.. Br.. Brock? Yeah, Brock. The two of them had got to talking and had learned a bit about each other. Then Brian had downed a few drinks of his own and.. nothing. That was all he could remember.

Brian wanted to start screaming out all of the curse words he knew. It didn't take an idiot to figure out what had happened between him and Brock that night. Memory of it or not, there was no denying it. He had had sex with a complete and total stranger. A couple drinks and slurred words accounting for their few exchanged conversations at the bar didn't help at all either. Yes, they had talked some before the whole fiasco had inevitably went down, but that didn't change the fact that both men didn't know each other.

Brian detested himself. This was a typical thing to happen to him after going out to a bar or club. He'd always have a few more than he should, and then he'd wake up in the morning with a guilty conscience and a stranger. He knew he shouldn't have gone out. Lui's birthday or not, he had made a promise to himself that he'd stop all of these accidental one night stands. Now look where he was. Brian couldn't help the groan that escaped him at this realization, and that had managed to wake up the other male who had been sleeping.

"Augh... Brian?" Brock spluttered out, and Brian immediately jumped out of the bed.

"Look, I'm sorry, but I've gotta go. This was just a misunderstanding- I didn't mean to and I'm really sorry. I just- you know and-" Brian rushed, picking up his belongings from around the room the two were in. Brock took a moment to rub his temples, then held out his hand in a stopping signal.

"Just.. don't. I've heard the same speech before." He sighed, putting his hands over his face.

"Look, again, I'm really sorry, Brock..? Brock. I'm really sorry." Brian apologized, shaking his head as he put his clothes back on. Once he had finished, he grabbed his phone from where it rested on the room's bedside table and went to put it in his pocket. Brock stopped him before he could, though.

"Wait, quick question. Do you remember anything from last night?" Brock asked, secretly hoping the answer would be yes. Brian couldn't help but sigh at the look of hope on Brock's face.

"No, not really. I hardly remember a thing. Why?"

"Oh.. don't worry about it. I don't know why I really bothered to ask, in all honesty." Brock replied, and Brian felt a slight heartache at hearing the saddened tone in his voice. He really didn't want to leave Brock like this, on such awkward and bad terms. So an idea then popped into his head. It was a stupid one. An idea that he would most likely be regretful of if Brock complied. But he couldn't leave without throwing it up for debate, first.

"Okay, I've got a proposal for you, if you'd like to hear it." Brian started, and Brock sat up from his spot.

"Go on. I'm listening."

"Alright, well.. maybe this doesn't have to be goodbye. Maybe we could hook up again another time- if you're okay with that, I mean." Brock couldn't help the small grin that crossed his face.

"What, you just can't get enough of me?" He asked Brian, giving him a wink. Brian just snorted and rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, that's definitely what it is. So you going to give me your phone number or what?" He asked, and Brock held out his hand for Brian's phone. Giving it to the other male, Brian watched him type in a few things, then turn off the phone and hand it back. He took it, grateful that Brock hadn't just taken his phone and ran. He'd had an experience or two similar to that, and he wasn't particularly willing to go through it again.

"So I'll talk to you later, then?" Brian asked, making his way to the bedroom door.

"Definitely." Brock responded, giving Brian one more wink as he left the room where the past night's events took place.

~~~~~ Five Months Later~~~~~~~~
Brian pulled out his cellphone and scrolled through his contacts, stopping when he came across a certain one. He couldn't help but chuckle when he read the name of it.
'ThnksFrThMmrs'
The idiot had meant to put 'Thanks For The Memories', but that was too long of a contact name. Brock's solution? Take out all of the vowels in the name. Tapping the call icon on the screen, Brian held the device up to his ear and listened to it ring a couple of times. He grinned when he heard the familiar voice he loved all too much answer with a groggy "Hello?".
"Hey, Brock."
Alright! Well, that worked out better than I expected it to. Summary time!
Summary:
Brian had went out clubbing with his friends one night for one of their birthday's. He ended up meeting a guy named Brock at the bar there, and the two of them started talking all the while downing drink after drink. The two ended up leaving the club and going to a hotel, where they both ended up having sex. (They didn't know what they were doing, they were both drunk.) Brian wakes up the next morning realizing his mistake, and goes to leave when Brock wakes up. They end up talking about the whole exchange when Brian realizes he doesn't want this to be the last time he sees Brock. They end up exchanging numbers and end up meeting up more frequently to where they're still seeing each other months after the whole ordeal.
So, yeah. That's all I'm going to write as of right now, seeing as I've typed this whole one-shot outside. Yeah, my dad told me to go out and do something with my life, so here was my solution. Heh.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed!
