For the past month Jack has been messing with you. Not in a cute childish way someone would expect, nooo.. It was much more torturous.

He'd leave dead animals around your room to find and would constantly remind you about how easy it would be to gut your sibling like a fish.

He would always brush on you every time he walked past while playing with (y/s) but it became even worse because now you couldn't see him anymore.

His presence and touch was still there, hidden away in the air.

You hated the thought of constantly being watched but as much as it made you paranoid it also annoyed you.

Why you, why (y/s), what made the two of you so.. 'fun'

It infuriated you that you were practically just toys for his amusement, he's gonna throw you away and kill you either way once you stop being interesting.

So that's your one goal right now, keep him invested and interested, to keep his attention away from murder. And thats exactly what you've been doing, switching your personality completely for each specific day so your actions could become more unpredictable to him.

Bingo.

You were right, he became more invested in your constant demeanor changes, he started showing himself to you more often and that gave you an advantage. You could now physically see and touch him, no more of those annoying whispers that kept making chills run down your spine.

And certainly no more of those annoying grabs and caresses at your back every time he passed you.

Your mom and sibling did notice your odd behavior and questioned you but you just brushed it off as growing up, you're an adult now so you were just trying to 'find yourself'.

All excuses of course, in reality you were protecting your family from a huge clown at least two times your size with the color pattern of a straight flag.
