Y/n was having trouble processing what she was just asked. All she could manage was a weird "eh?" and the tilt of her head, trying to play it off cooly.

"Do I know Chigiri? What do you mean by that?" she gave him a nervous smile.

Before Isagi could say anything else, the lanky Ego appeared on the screen to give his daily nonsense. For once, she was happy to see his face pop up on screen.

"Hello my diamonds in the rough... and Y/n..." a mischievous grin spread across his face at the saying of your name.

You shuddered, while Isagi eyed you, seeing your reaction at the sound of your name escaping his lips.

"I have updated your progress and what not... as well as the chart displaying the team's wins... Here you are~"

A chart was immediately displayed, your eyes thinning at the sight of it. It was not at all what you expected. Team V was ahead with 6 points, while everyone else was tied with three points. You weren't surprised by Team V's points, considering you've watched some of their plays, and they sure were amazing.

"Now for the good part, your rankings. Based on how you've played, the goals you scored, as well as the feedback I've obtained from your manager, your rankings have been changed"

Their numbers started glitching, your eyes focusing in on Chigiri's numbers. It read 274th, the second worst in Team Z. You couldn't help but tsk, jerking your head to look away.

"That means that you, Yoichi Isagi, are the top player in Team Z" Ego spoke through the slurp of his noodles.

Your grinned ecstatically, slapping Isagi on the back, "Hey great job dude!"

"And as for you Manager Y/n"

You paused, your heart rate increasing, your palms going sweaty. You couldn't help but shakily look up at the screen, Ego's face grinning widely.

"It's a little different for you my little lump of coal-"

COAL?! That's how he sees me?

"For the managers, I base your points off the quality of reports you give me, the effort put into helping your team, and as well as the wins they get as a team. Additionally there's another-"

"H-Hold on! On the letter you only mentioned three factors! Did you suddenly add this one just now or something?"

Ego chuckled, finishing up his noodles, "Did I? Well, this last factor was actually held off on, but I decided to add it last minute"

Your picture was displayed on the screen. It was then zoomed out and pictures of the boys circled around you. Eleven lines stuck out from your picture, connecting it to each of the boys picture.

"Interpersonal relationships of course. Remaining civil with your team is a top priority as a manager. How else will you get them to listen to you? Taking in these four factors, I've changed your ranking"

The digits on your own shoulder started to glitch, Isagi turning his head this time to get a good look at them.

"Managers' rankings are not like those of the players. You see, if the numbers on your team only go from 275th-265th, then those are the only possible rankings you can get. However, with managers, your ranking can vary from 1st-25th"

Your breath hitched hearing that. That means, that if you only went one place up, it still meant you were pretty bad. Had your system been the same as the boys, going up two places would actually give you some confidence. A beep sounded, indicating that your new ranking was shown.
