-disclamer: there is no such thing like morning breath in this galaxy far far away from ours.
Thank you, proceed.

When I woke up the next day, tightly wrapped in Anakin’s arms and a leg of his pushed between my own, I couldn’t quite believe any of it was real and that everything that had happened yesterday wasn’t just a crazy dream. -But it wasn’t a dream. Anakin’s slow and steady breathing right behind me and the rhythmic movement of his chest against my back was evidence enough for that.

I couldn’t help but smile as I replayed the events in my head that had led us here. First, the tension that had been between Anakin and me right in the morning, when he had just gotten out of the shower and looked so incredibly sexy; then our stupid fight over Obiwan’s visit and the words that were said in the course of it, and lastly, Anakin’s manipulative little mind game he had played with me, that unexpectedly ended in the most romantic of ways- an incredible, breathtaking kiss. Or should I say a kiss, eventually followed by a heated make out session?

Just the thought of it made my cheeks burn and my stomach do funny little flips all over again and now it made me become all the more aware of Anakin’s warm hand that had slipped under my shirt, touching the sensitive area around my ribs. I squirmed a little at the sudden realisation and Anakin immediately stirred and groaned behind me, his arms tightening around my body as he pulled me closer to his chest. He nuzzled his face into my hair, his warm breath tickling my neck.

"Good morning.", he murmured, his voice still husky with sleep.

“You’re literally suffocating me, Anakin!”, I chuckled, “But good morning to you, too.”

“Nonsense... You’re still able to talk.”, he mumbled sleepily and then pressed a wet kiss on my neck. I shivered at the sensation of his lips on my skin, followed by the cool air hitting the wet spot he left.

“True, but you’re still making it hard to breathe.”, I said, biting my lip and shuffling around a little to get him to loosen his iron grip around me a bit. Without any success.

“I’m said to leave the people around me breathless, yes. I just have that effect.”, he teased, followed by a yawn.

“In your dreams, Skywalker.” I rolled my eyes.

But then his lips suddenly connected with my skin again. They started trailing down my neck, making loud smacking-sounds whenever he disconnected them from my skin. And that simple action really did make it a lot harder for me to breathe, given that we had only really kissed twice yesterday and all of this was still very new and exciting to me. So, I audibly gasped- at which he abruptly stopped.

“What’s that?”, I could practically hear him smirk.

“Nothin’.”, I choked out.

“Oh, thought I heard you changing your mind and agreeing with me.”

“Mh mh. I didn’t.”

“Mhm ‘kay.”

When I thought the matter was settled now, his lips connected with my skin again, but this time they kissed sideways into the crook of my neck, while his hand on my lower ribs traced abstract patterns into the skin. I couldn't help but let out a soft moan as his lips lingered on a particularly sensitive spot between my neck and shoulder, gently sucking on it.

When the sound left my mouth, Anakin chuckled softly against my skin. “And is that a yes?”

“Maybe.”, I breathed out, my heart still beating a hundred miles an hour.

“You know, Y/N, that a ‘maybe’ will never be enough to satisfy my ego, right?”

“Not my problem. A ‘maybe’ is already more than you deserve.”, I stated sassily.
