As we continued on our journey, some of us couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. The forest seemed to be closing in around us, and the trees seemed to be whispering secrets to each other.

Eclipse, who had been walking at the back of our group, suddenly stopped in her tracks. "Did you hear that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

We turned to look at her, our senses on high alert. The forest was silent, as if waiting for something to happen.

Suddenly, a group of shadowy figures emerged from the trees, their faces obscured by masks. They were armed with swords and daggers, and they moved with deadly grace.

Without a word, we sprang into action, some of our training kicking in. Pyro summoned his flames, while Solar called for his light powers. Dean drew his sword that was built out of different varieties of energy, while Blossom and Eclipse used their agility to dodge the attackers.

The battle was intense, with swords clashing and sparks flying. But we fought with skill and determination, and in the end, we emerged victorious.

Panting and covered in sweat, we looked around at the fallen attackers. Who were they, and why had they attacked them? I thought to myself.

As we searched the attackers for clues, Dean found a symbol on one of their masks - a serpent with wings. It was a symbol that none of us recognized, but it sent shivers down our spines.

"What does this mean?" Blossom asked, her voice shaking slightly.

"I don't know," Solar replied. "But I have a feeling that this is just the beginning."
