It was close to ten o'clock at night when they trudged towards the car, exhausted from their afternoon at the beach.

Komori, Akagi and Yaku packed up the blankets and towels while Kuroo, Bokuto, Sakusa and Atsumu packed up the volleyball net. It wasn't long before they all moved to pack their things into the trunk of Kuroo's car before they all piled in for the trip home.

Atsumu connected his phone to the Bluetooth and suddenly the song Midnight Life by White Panda blasted through the speakers.

They were seated with Kuroo driving, Bokuto in the front passenger seat, Akagi on Komori's lap again on the right side of the back seat, Sakusa sitting on the left side of the back seat, and Yaku and Atsumu squeezed in the middle with Atsumu sitting next to Sakusa.

Sakusa's arm was wrapped around Atsumu's waist and the blonde was more than content to be tucked into Sakusa's side. Atsumu was wearing Sakusa's hoodie again, and Sakusa couldn't help but smile at it.

The night was calm and quiet, and the stars were bright and lit up the sky. Kuroo's mustang hugged the roads as they cruised along towards the city. The air was cool but not too cold and there was a slight breeze that whisked through their hair. The roof was still down, which allowed them a beautiful view of the star-filled sky.

"Hey, you guys want to play one word per person?" Bokuto called from the front.

Atsumu looked excited, "Yes, please!" He answered quickly as he sat up, drawing a barely-noticeable pout from Sakusa.

Akagi gasped, "Yes! I'm so down!" He agreed.

Komori chuckled, "I guess I'm in too," he caved.

Yaku laughed, "Why not?"

Kuroo grinned, "I'm in."

Sakusa frowned, "How do you play?" He asked.

Bokuto chuckled, "One word at a time to make a story," he explained briefly.

Sakusa furrowed his eyebrows, "Elaborate? So, what are we supposed to accomplish??"

Bokuto hummed and thought about his reply for a moment, "Okay, you're supposed to accomplish a story with a plot and a conclusion, and it has to make sense in the end. It can't just be random words put together."

"Alright," Sakusa said, "I'm up for it."

Bokuto grinned, "Okay, I'll start: Once..."

Kuroo continued, "Upon..."

"Buttholes," Komori stated proudly, earning a round of laughter and a smack on the arm from Akagi.

They continued, ignoring the 'buttholes', with Akagi saying, "There..."

"Wasn't," Yaku added.

"Murder!" Atsumu shouted and Bokuto and Kuroo burst out laughing while Yaku and Akagi seemed horrified and Komori and Sakusa snickered.

Sakusa pursed his lips, "Thankfully," he added, trying not to laugh as Atsumu died of laughter next to him.

Bokuto, sensing the opportunity to create more chaos, immediately said, "But!"

Atsumu keeled over and laughed even harder and Akagi couldn't help but laugh with him, "You okay, Tsumu?" He said through his laughter, "We haven't even started."

Atsumu wiped tears from his eyes, "Ah... I'm a twelve-year-old child," he wheezed and everyone burst out laughing.

"We couldn't go one sentence, Tsumu, one sentence!" Yaku teased, "You know, you're supposed to do that a little later on..." He added.
