law of conservation of energy states that energy can never be created or destroyed, only transferred. love is not just a verb, it is a form of energy transferred from one of us together -
love that's made them immune to the other's morning breath and has one make the other coffee while that person is gathering their offspring and making sure they're ready for their day.
and i can't speak for the other child but love from them transfers to me; i'm sure it transfers from me to you during our many embraces.
back and forth, the love flows.
hate is an energy as well.
hate for her past transgressions rises up and boils up through their arguments and what do you know, a cup flies through the air (but he provoked her, so bitchass nigga had it coming).
hate for what i've become
hate makes the cup of 'separation' brand reali-tea bitter and burn my tongue; it burns on the way down. it makes me choke on more hate that becomes an undeniable rising of anger swell in my chest.
