Part 8
I passed through all my classes in a daze. Then the bell finally rang for lunch. I went to my seat with Shane, Stella, Jess, and the other guys.
“Hey guys, I’m so sorry that I couldn’t make it to shoot some hoops yesterday.” I said, sitting down.
“No problem Mia, we actually didn’t end up going, since Shane was too busy…” Carter went to say, but Shane hit him with the back of his hand.
“Had to run some errands…” Carter trailed off.
“Ok, so can we reschedule for after school?” I asked.
“Sure, you can just ride with me after school.” Shane smiled.
I smiled back and I heard someone behind me. I turned to see Luca.
“Aren’t you forgetting babydoll? You have another counselor meeting since you walked out yesterday.” He grinned.
“No, you cant make me go and neither can the school.” I said, crossing my arms.
“If you don’t come, it’s community service for three weeks.” He replied.
I didn’t respond and he chuckled and bent down to my ear.
“Guess I’ll see you later babydoll.”
I stood up and looked him straight in the eyes which were shining.
“My name is Mia.” I growled and walked out of the lunch room.
I was trying to find my locker, but I got lost. I walked around aimlessly for a couple of seconds until someone caught me by the arm. I turned to see Shane.
“Hey are you ok?” He asked.
‘Yeah other than having to deal with Luca 24/7 now, pretty good.” I half smiled.
“What exactly happened? Stella said it was your business and that she didn’t wanna tell me.”
“We got into a sorta kinda paint fight in art…..and we got counseling classes instead of a detention.” I grimaced.
“Oh wow.” He said.
“So can we reschedule for tomorrow?” I frowned.
“Yeah, that’s fine.” He said and turned me around.
“C’mon, we don’t want you to get lost…again.” He winked.
I shook my head and laughed quietly.
Ok guys I feel terrible. This chapter SUCKS. I’m so sorry. I have just had a rough day K Please please please don’t be mad at me! I promise, the next chapter will be ten times better.
