as the group walked out of the entrance, down the long flight of stairs and into the dirt road, you kept silent as the rest of the group asked many of questions to the lost, now retrieved family member

grabbing quick glances from the man, he seemed like a stranger now- you didn't quite know him before, but you definitely didn't know him now

used to being a 180 cm tall hunched over monster, now turned into a decent looking man, there was no longer strange bubble looking things on his back, only tentacles peaking out of his shirt- strangely enough they looked like the ones Alcina have on her back once she transforms

'..did he experiment on himself?..' you thought to yourself

the idea wasn't impossible- one of his jobs for Mother Miranda was experimenting on animals, so he probably would have modified it to adapt to "human" bodies

thinking long and hard about how he could have mutated himself further to mutate him back made you lose focus on what you were previously doing- walking

you walked slower, still holding your lady's fingers

your lady's long strides slowed down as well- noticing you weren't keeping up

"draga mea..what's the matter?" her siren eyes softened up slightly when she looked at you

"nothing is" you objected, now paying full attention to Alcina- your heart still racing of the shot of adrenaline coursing through your body

your lady breathed out a small amused chuckle "now- if it was nothing, you would not have lost track of your feet" she teased "tell me, what's on your mind?" she pressed a small kiss on your forehead

being a big lady of power, she had no problem showing physical affection to the one who owns her heart, especially around others. she wanted to show how you belonged to her

laying your head down on her shoulder as she was now carrying you- walking a bit behind of the group "well..I was just thinking is all- about Sal's transformation"

"yes?" she encouraged you to keep talking

"well- since I was supposedly a doctor in the past..a great one at that- it still boggles my mind how he changed so drastically yet so quickly" confusion dug your mind, you bit your lower lip in thought

Alcina let out a small heartfelt laugh

"oh..iubita mea, I have no doubt that you were an excellent doctor, but- this is a strange world we live in" she paused briefly and glanced down at you, cracking a smile at your concentrated face "especially here in this village.."

her words made sense, after all- you were engaged to a 9'6 foot tall lady..not to mention she can extract 17 inch claws out of her fingers life nothing

"I suppose you're right" you lifted your head slightly to give her a kiss on the cheek

the small gesture made her heart melt, and you could see it on her face

"you like that?" you giggled like a child, propping yourself up more in her arms to kiss her face all over
