Your heart sank, you felt as if you were about to throw up "no..no no no! How is he still alive Alcina! That was three months ago! I shot him dead center in his head!" Your breaths became uneven, you were clearly panicking, you no longer felt safe as flashbacks from the last incident came blaring in your mind

'I almost died.. I can't go through that again.. please, let this be a nightmare, let me wake up, please please please please please!!'

Your lady appeared in front of you, holding your shoulders firmly "Y/N just breathe, he isn't here anymore, he's been staying near the village" she paused a moment "technically he is dead, but a molded mutation took over his body, we had to kill his heart, not his brain"

You took in a sharp breath "s-so you're telling me he isn't human?"

"Well, he is- was human, but he's technically already dead, we must destroy his heart to kill him permanently" she explained

You quivered "Alcina.. I don't want to die" you sniffled softly "I almost died in your arms the last time.. y-you even got impaled!"

"Shh, shh, it's going to be okay Y/N. I'm not going to let absolutely anything happen to you this time, I was being incompetent last time! I wasn't thinking straight" she looked deeply into your eyes, it comforted you strangely, yet her eyes had a glint of regret sunken into them "I'm going to protect you Y/N" she kissed your forehead softly and pulled you into a tight hug

You hugged back, wrapping your arms around her waist, your arms were only long enough for your fingers to touch slightly around her

You sighed softly and started to calm down, you felt safer than last time, but the intrusive thought of you fighting for your life after getting shot was terrifying for you to think of

You stayed in your lady's arms for a couple of moments to calm yourself even more

"How are we going to kill him, my lady?.." you finally managed to say, looking up at her

She looked down at you in return "I'm not certain Y/N" she paused for a while "but.. I do need you to do something crucial for all of this" she started

The tone of her voice sounded different, it was a mix of trying to sound calm, and immediate regret

"I need you to find his camp." She finally managed to say

Your eyes widened immediately "y-you want me to... what?.. didn't you just say you wanted protect me?!" You hearted started to palpitate 'why does she want me to do this? This seems dangerous!'

You were visibly shaken up and she immediately cupped your cheek "I'm not sending you alone dear, my daughters will be accompanying you, they'll protect you, I promise"

'Protect me?.. yeah right' you sighed and looked down "okay.. anything for you my lady" you didn't want to go what so ever, but she said it was crucial, so you didn't try to fight back

'I still don't understand why she's sending me out there, she just told me she'd protect me herself! Yet she's separating us..'

She rubbed your head softly and tilted your head up with her index finger and thumb "I know this seems crazy, and I apologize, but I'll explain everything later on. Okay?" She placed a soft kiss on your lips and wrapped an arm around your waist
