You weren't too worried to be seen by anybody at this time, since the lords were in the dinning room with some maidens and the rest were probably doing their chores

When you turned a corner you saw the door that lead to the library 'hmm, let's still hurry this up, I don't know how long they'll be in the dinning hall for'

You made your way to the door and opened it

"Hmm"

You closed the door quietly and looked around the room to make sure nobody was in it

"Hello?" You called out "is anyone here?" You asked

You waited a good moment and heard nobody

You took in a deep breath and rubbed your neck, finally getting a second to rest and process everything that's happening

You walked deeper into the room and looked around "hmm, seems they cleaned up everything I left" you mumbled to yourself

And indeed, when you looked in the middle of the room where you've stayed for the past month- there was nothing left, apart from the couches back in place

You shrugged it off 'they did that fast'

"Whatever, I have to hurry before Alcina finds me and" you pouted and stopped talking "I don't even want to think about it.."

Without wasting another second you quickly went to the back of the library and searched for the switch on the bookshelf

You looked and it wasn't there anymore "wait what?? How is it gone? How does a wooden level just disappear??" You asked yourself in pure confusion

"Okay..whatever, that's just for the lights, if I can at least open the trapdoor and navigate myself in the dark, I should be okay, just quick- in and out then go to our....my room"

You sighed in sadness thinking on how your lady kicked you out of your shared room- it was all so sudden as well so it made you even more heartbroken and confused

You shook your head 'no! It's no time to think about that! I have to hurry'

You looked up at the grandfather's clock to check the time

Your face grimaced "wha?-"

The was no numbers no needle on the clock, it was a faceless grandfather's clock that showed no time

"H-how does it- what is?- wait what if- huh??"

'Nothing is making any sense anymore ugh!'

Irritated now, you pulled the ladder on your section closer to the secret book compartment and climbed the ladder immediately

You reached the level of the secret trapdoor's key entrance- yet, nothing was there, there wasn't even a slot to push anything in, not even a book in sigh
