Donna had welcomed you warmly in her home
You shook out of pure fear and due to the cold, you avoided making eye contact with the dollmaker, leaving your eyes glued to the floor
"I uhm..I'm sorry for coming this late in the night" you finally spoke out after a couple minutes of silence
Donna spoke hesitantly, you need not to look at her to know she had millions of questions running through her head
"Come..let's get you cleaned up.." she spoke gently, ushering you deeper into her house
'I wonder how Alcina is feeling right about now..I wonder if she's searching for me' a pout crept up on your lips as you walked
She sat you down on the couch in the main area
"Y/N!!!!" A screech was heard from up the stairs- it was Angie, she seemed happy to see you
Your head tilted upwards to see the doll behind the bars in the stairs, she was waddling down the hall and hopping down the stairs, finally making her way down to your level
"WOAHHH-! WHO CUT OFF YOUR ARM?!" She screamed out, running over to you
"Angie!" Donna spoke sternly "I'm sorry Y/N.." she apologized for the doll's behaviour
You inhaled a sharp breath and slumped your head down
Donna sat next to you and placed a hand on your shoulder in a comforting manner
"I'm sorry for Angie's behaviour.." she spoke softly
"No..no no- it's okay" you replied finally
"You.." she paused for a moment- contemplating if she should ask or not "you don't have to tell us..but- I have a couple questions for you"
You sighed gently and fell back into the couch further "mhm?" You glanced up at the veiled woman
"Firstly..what..uhm" she looked over at your missing arm
Your heart clenched tightly, you stopped breathing for a moment
"U-uhm.." you cleared your throat
"The cadou." You blurted out hesitantly "it..was too much for my body to handle" you explained slowly "one day I just started to feel sick"
You got up from the couch, Donna looked up at you- she wanted to stop you, but decided to let you be
"We didn't know what the cause was- and then Alcina spoke to this doctor called Klarissa- and then something happened, my veins basically turned black, I was in immense pain"
You started pacing back and forth, speaking faster and faster with each sentence
"Then I collapsed, Klarissa found me, then I got-.." you shook your head
"Then I woke up-! My arm was fucking gone! I got really mad, I decided I didn't want to see Alcina until I've calmed down, and then I thought the safest place I could be is your house!" You paused for a moment to catch your breathe, still pacing back and forth in Donna's living room
"I don't know why! I was being so stupid-! I didn't even ask WHY they did it and didn't try to save my arm-! I just left without saying a word!" You stopped talking, you were so heated and frustrated that you didn't notice the tears streaming down your eyes
"O-oh.." you looked down, using your hand to wipe your tears away "fuck.." you mumbled
"y/n.." Donna said in almost a whisper
You stayed silent, looking over at the dollmaker would was sitting on the couch
"Alcina called immediately.." she stated "I told her you weren't here- since you weren't here at the time.."
