"And always will. Always."

The next morning was even worse.

His face is all I see on the news. The only story I hear on the radio. Peter's face splashed through my social media replacing my cute cat video's. "Propaganda", Bucky finally has enough, turning off the TV in front of us "All of it. I don't recall the media being this cut throat in the forties."

Smirking over my book I watch Bucky fume towards the switched off TV. Glaring at the black screen as if he was still seeng the news. "Ooh. So angsty", I coo, shurgging my brows "Look at you acting your age."

Shifting his gaze to the side it softens at the sight of my peeking eyes over the edge. He stares for a long moment before taking a slow thoughtful sip from his mug "Why do I love you?"

"Because you agreed to be with me. For better or worse" I smirk, lowering my book to my blanketed lap "But mostly worse."

"Please" Bucky scoffs absurdly "I knew that the moment I met you." Bucky taking another sip from his coffee I feel my smirk relax into a smile. Sinking further into the blanket I watch the light bounce off his dark hair, the furrow of his brows when he sips his coffee, the gentle tap of his foot against floorboards letting me know his mind is running laps. "Thought for a thought?"
