"Nanami. We have a mission, remember?"

"...Oh... Yeah... I remember. I'll be in a moment. Or... Do not wait for me. Go to the assistant now." he answered you.

"...Okay... But... Are you Ok?" you asked sitting down next to him. He finished rubbing his eyes and looked towards you from behind his fringe.

"Yes. All good. Just tired."

"Really? And you look like you're awake." You laughed softly.

He looked at you seriously.

"Oh. So it really was..."

"I was lost in the night. I couldn't sleep without doing something."

"Are you sure you can go on a mission? I could do it on my own."

"It's too dangerous. So a two-man mission is the best."

"I could ask Gojo-senpai to come with me. If you want to rest."

Hearing this, the blonde suddenly jumped up from his seat, standing upright.

"No!" Suddenly he said. It was loud.

"You can take a break when I go with him. I know how hard you try and train. But you also need rest." you smiled to mask your surprise at his sudden outburst.

"You... You can't go with him." he said, clenching his jaw. You didn't see what he meant. It was the first time he had acted like this. How not him. It was enough that you just said something about senpai.

"Nanami. Rest, okay?" you said the right thing by placing your hand on his shoulder. "There will also be other missions you will be on. You don't have to come with me all the time. It won't take long."

Looking at your gentle and comforting smile, he couldn't tell you weren't happy. But he couldn't let you be next to this monster always.

He saw it very often. He knew how a Gojo would enter your room only to leave later with a smile on his face. It was always late. In the night hours when you were asleep. It was confusing. That's why he started checking how often he goes to you. Daily. He was always there when you slept. He was sitting by your bed. Next to you. He touched and hugged. He gave light kisses. He did all this with such delicacy that you did not wake up. On the contrary, it calmed you down. You slept well. Not even aware that he is there. And he never did anything more than that. He's never touched you where he shouldn't. He gave you time. And Nanami knew it well.

That day when he couldn't sleep, it was after he had seen it all. You, sleepy and peaceful in your bed. And there is a Gojo next to you. Smiling in the dark. Every time you moved like you were going to wake up, he moved his hand away so that after you calmed down, he would touch you again. It also didn't take long. He spent about 15 minutes there.

That night, the blonde couldn't sleep. He was just thinking about the way he was touching you. If he didn't know what the white-haired man really was thinking, he would have left it alone. Sure, your senpai likes you. He likes you very much. But he knows what scares the thoughts. He's not normal.

He had seen it already. He could compare a Gojo to a monster. The inhuman anomaly that kills and wounds. No matter what. And you were to be his victim.

Such thoughts kept him awake. So much so that in the middle of the night he had to get up and look at you. Fearing the presence of a Gojo. But he wasn't there. He was glad he left you alone for once.

"I'm going with you. This is our mission. Not his." he growled his last words before starting to walk, grabbing your arm.

"Are you sure? You can–"

"I can take care of myself and you. I can do it better than he can..."

___________

"N-Nanami!" you screamed, surprised with a smile seeing your friend walking towards you.

He didn't answer you, but instead looked towards the Gojo who was holding your hand to his face. Including his own, where a little blood leaked through his fingers.

"Gojo-san?" he asked looking seriously at the White-haired man.

"Oh! Nanami! Better watch out for her! Shee has a hard blow!" he laughed. And this is just a cover for his negative emotions when he saw the blonde. Neither of them will ever forget their quarrels and threats.

"What happened here?" he asked you now.

"Um... I hit senpai by accident... And it's bleeding..." you said as you dragged your handkerchief over his nose. "I'm sorry for this."

"Don't worry. I'm ok! It's just a temporary pain. It's gonna stop bleeding. And it not hardly hurts at all." he said as he sat down on the bench.

"I thought you ALWAYS turned on infinity." Nanami said, emphasizing the word.

The white-haired man looked at him coldly. But he smiled so as not to show you the bad atmosphere.

"How could I isolate myself from (y / n)? I don't want her to not be able to touch me. She is not my enemy and does not threaten me. And even if she does, I know it will be okay. I am the strongest. Stronger than you. And I can take care of myself and her. Even with the wounds she inflicted on me."

You looked questioningly at your senpai before looking at Nanami's clenched fists.

"(y/n)-chan~ to stop the pain, take care of me~." he groaned with a sweet smile as he grabbed your waist and hugged you. His head was pointing up to look at you. You haven't seen that someone with a blew nose, older than you, but so childish, can still be sweet. But here you are.

"I have slices and gauze. I'll get it right." you said once again wiping his skin with a handkerchief to clean him.

"You don't think you're too high?" he asked laughing.

"No. Yes it can be–"

Suddenly he pulled you to his lap, bringing you to his face.

"That's better. Come on. Take care of me."

You laughed at his childish nature and started sticking his nose up. He stuffed a piece of cotton wool into the nostril to keep the blood from falling on your fingers. And he relished your touch on his skin. You were sticking the patches so carefully. So what if he could have used the reverse cursed technique. Prefer you to "heal" him first. He'll fix it himself later

"Finish." you said as you tweaked the last patch on his nose. "Nanami? You needed something?"

As you turned to face him, he still hoped you weren't completely in the darkness of the Gojo. You were still a ray of light. You shone brightly, but he was afraid that the glow might have shone fainter and fainter.

"No. It's not that important. Can wait." he said before shooting a murderous look at the person you were sitting on. He met only his dark and victorious eyes.

"Okay. See you later." you waved him. "Uh. Senpai, you can let me go now. You are squeezing me with your hands."

"It's not my fault you're so cute I don't want to! It's stronger than me." he laughed gently letting go of you. But with reluctance.

____________
______

He didn't know your beam would never go out. No matter what darkness you are in.

A smile will appear in any situation.

No matter what happens, you know what will be right.

Because you know your feelings and yourself well. You know what will be good for you.
