Chapter 14-

"Jacey, your parents are here!"

I have to talk to her about last night though.

She can't leave right now.

"Bye sweetie, it was a pleasure having you this week" my mom hugged her

"Thank you for letting me stay" Jacey smiled.

"Yes, thanks for letting her stay. We really appreciate it"

Her parents and my parents kept talking for ages it seemed like.

This was my chance.

"Uh, uhm... Jacey you left your uh necklace upstairs"

"Oh, can you get it for me?"

"I think you should get it with me"

"Christian," my dad cut in "go get her necklace.

It's fine. I'll talk to her again later.

I walked up the stairs, looking for a necklace that didn't even exist.

How am I supposed to start this talk?

I turned to the mirror and sighed.

"Um so listen Jacey-no"

I can't do this.

"So about the kiss- no no no"

"Jacey listen-"

"So hey there- you know what. Forget it"

I can't even do this talking to myself in the mirror in my own bedroom.

"Christian!"

What now?

"Say bye" my mom said smiling.

"Bye Jacey, talk to you later"

"Bye." She smiled.

"No, Jacey wait." I turned her around

"I'm sorry."

She just nodded and left.

I sat on the couch and slumped down.

"Tough night with the ladies, huh son?"

I just glared at my dad.

"Here, let's go for a ride. We'll talk about this one one one."
