Jacey's P.O.V.
"I did it mom! I survived my first high school final with all A's!" I belted out walking through the door.
"Yay sweetie!" My mom engulfed me in a hug.
Dinner was surprisingly ready so we sat and ate as a family.
"Jacey, me and your mom are having to go out of town this week, and since you don't really know your way around here yet, I feel it'd be best if you stay at the Akridge's" my dad said.
Surprisingly, I was excited.
Staying home would be great too but, Christian was basically my best friend.
I quickly finished my food and ran upstairs to text Christian.
-Hey! Guess who's staying at your house this week?
Christian🦁- I don't know... Lucas maybe?
-Very funny.. Me, of course!
Christian🦁- Aha I know! I'm just messing with ya. Can't wait!
-me neither! Good night, I'll see you tomorrow!
And with that, I quickly shut my eyes and fell asleep.
