It's 12:03 and I can't sleep.
The events of today playing in the back of my mind, repeating over and over.
My phone rings, picking it up I see Christian's name come across the screen.
"Hello?" I whispered
"I'm sorry you were probably asleep-"
"No," I cut him off "I've not slept a wink yet."
"Oh... Can't sleep either?"
"Not at all" I sighed.
"Meet me in the living room in 10 minutes"
Before I could ever ask him what we were doing, he hung up.
It was my last night at the Akridge's, so I have no clue what he had planned.
Probably a movie, or maybe he just wanted to chat.
Either way, I did as told.
I quietly tip-toed down the stairs and seen Christian sitting on the couch.
"You ready to go?" He said getting up, coming towards me.
"Go where?"
"I don't know, wherever our feet take us."
Is he crazy?
What if we get lost?
"C'mon," he stuck out his hand "let's go"
He took my hand in his, and we crept out the door.
