Scottie PoV

I wandered down the hall towards the training arena to get ready for Ashe's, training. As I walked suddenly two arms wrapped around my waist and pulled my into one of the tunnels covering my mouth. I screamed muffled threats and thrashed until I realized it was Damien. "What?!" I snapped. "Shh, come here." He said. He opened the door to the twins secret tunnels towards our parents room. We stopped infront of our parents door to hear them...arguing inside?! They never argue. "TYGR! I understand what your saying but I cannot just leave out I have responsibilities!" Our Taad yelled. "Thorin...you can ask Fili, Dis, Balin, Dwalin to watch over things is your absence. You need a break, your getting moody, hardly sleeping...yes I know that you get up in the middle of the night to go drink. Your stressed out my love and its worrying me..." We heard our mother say calmly, though we could tell she was close to tears. We heard our father sigh, "what about the kids?" He asked. "Well, we could take them with us or we could leave them here. For some reason I have a feeling Bilbo would appreciate it if we didn't bring them." Our mother said. "Probably because we smother the shit out of him every time we see him." I whispered making Damien snicker. "Ai...do you think they can be trusted alone?" He asked. "Well, Melody, Liam, and Lily are leaving tomorrow. So that leaves Scottie, the twins, Ashe, Damien, and Allistor. That's just six. Not to difficult for Dis to watch." Our mother said. "What about Ashe's training? Who's going to watch over it?" He asked. "Scottie and the others of course. I will speak with Dwalin and ask him to look in on it now and then. My sweet, see, you are worrying yourself too much. We need to just...go away for a small while." Our mother said. "...I brake does sound quite nice." Our father sighed. "Then...its a yes?" Our mother asked. "Well...alright. Yes." He said. "You missed all the yelling, that's when I came to get you." Damien said lowly. I nodded before we snuck back out. As we excited we saw Allistor and Ashe walking our way. Ashe...looked beat to hell and back. "Mahal Ashe! What happened to you?!" I asked. "Ashe!" We heard our fathers voice. "She fell...down a rather large tree...multiple times." Allistor said scratching the back of his head. "Why would you let her do that!?!" Our father barked furiously as he ran to his youngest daughter. "Well...she was determined and it didn't feel right to tell her she couldn't do it." Allistor said. Our father glared at him, "I swear Allistor...we will talk about this later." He growled the words dripping with venom. I don't blame...Ashe looked really bad. He drug Ashe away to tend to her wounds. I whistled and looked at Allistor, "damn man...was there a point that you stopped her? Or did she do it?" I asked. "No she did it. I didn't stop her." He said before turning around and walking away.

Ashe POV

My father held tightly to my wrist while dragging me to the medical room. "What on earth where you thinking! You could have broken a bone!" He yelled. "Not gonna lie I think I broke my thumb." I muttered. He spun around and looked at it. It was swollen and purple. "...we will get a brace for it and heal it." He said as we entered the medicos room. He picked me up and say me on the table before rummaging for bandages and cleaning alcohol. "Oin is going to need to give you some stitches." My father said before going into the other room. "Oin!" He yelled. "Ai?" I heard Oin reply. "Come here. I need you to do some stitches on Ashe." He said coming back in with Oin behind him, as well as aunt Dis. "Oh dear! What happened to you? You look like Kili when he tried to fight a wolf." She said. I grinned, "Kili did what?" I asked as Oin began putting numbing ointment on the gashes on my leg. "When Kili was younger, a lot of the dwarves his age made fun of him for not having much of a beard yet, saying he was a true man." She said. "So he decided to fight a large grey wolf to prove he was...it did not end pretty." She said. I grinned then hissed as I felt Oin poke the needle through my skin. My father grabbed my hand, allowing me to squeeze as much as I wanted verying on the pain. I laughed sadly, "at least he got them from fights, I got these from continually falling out of a tree." I said quietly. "Lass, it doesn't matter how ye got them. You where training! Ye can't learn to be the best without walking away with cuts and bruises." Dis said. "Ai, ye can't." Oin said. "If it makes you feel better Ashe...I've always been terrible at archery...and you shoot like an expert." My father said. "You can shoot?" Dis asked. "Ai she can...she beat your sons and I like a true warrior. Her arrows pinned my clothes to the wall." I smiled and hissed as Oin finished the last stitch. "Agh. Ow..." I whispered before he put bandages over my scraped and gave me a potion for my sore muscles. "Thank you Mr. Oin." I said with a grin. I hopped off the table with a limp. "I better go get ready for my lessons with Scottie." I said. "No, you will be doing no more today." My taad said. I shook my head, "no...I wanna at least do something today." I said. "You do not go against my words. I said no." He said. "Bu-" "NO" he said in a deadly no nonsense tone. I sighed and hung my head walking out. I limped my way to my bedroom. As I passed Lily's bedroom I saw her packing. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Who..what happened to you?" She asked looking at me. "Doesn't matter, what are you doing?" I asked. "I'm packing, I'm going back to Rivendell with Melody and Liam." She said. "What?! Why!!" I asked. "I...I want to learn elvish customs and medicine. I need to get out of this mountain." She said shaking her head. "Huh...you haven't really left in a while have you?" I asked. "Not since our camping trip, and that was only one day. I just need to go explore my life." She said. I sighed, "I suppose...I'll miss you." I said. She smiled at me, "maybe at one point you could come see us! Finally a we Rivendell, it's amazing." Lily said with a smile. "What's it like?" I asked. "It's in a beautiful valley, lots of waterfalls and rivers. The night sky there is the most beautiful thing you'd ever see." She said. "It sounds amazing. Bring me back something?" I asked. "Of course! Now I gotta focus on packing so i won't forget anything." I nodded and walked to my bedroom. As I entered, Talion wasn't there. "He must be in the stable." I muttered. I looked and saw Allistor had put the bow Thranduil gifted me. "It's so beautiful..." I said lifting it up. It fit perfectly in my hand, I never admired it before because I felt I needed to focus. I set it down on the bed and changed into loose fitting pants and a tank top, leaving the bruises and bandages on my arms exposed. I kicked off my shoes and decided to go barefoot. I grabbed the bow and tossed the arrows over my shoulder before deciding to go down to the arena to work on shooting. As I walked down flights of stairs to the lower arena that didn't have as many people around. I decided to go to that one so no one would notice my bow. As I walked down the lower hall I had the pleasure of running into Balin and Dwalin. I squeaked and hit the bow behind my back. "Dear, why do ye have so many bandages?" Balin asked. I stuttered, "well I-" I was cut off, "obviously she's been training like a beast, aye lass?" Dwalin asked smiling proudly at me. I laughed nervously and scooted around them facing the all the way. "Yeah! Totally!" I said, suddenly Dwalin gave me an odd look. "What's that? That bow." Dwalin said looking behind me. "Oh...its a bow I found in...a...a troll cave!!!" I said. "When were you at a troll cave?" Balin asked. "Allistor and I went out this morning and stumbled across one." I said. "Where there trolls?" Dwalin asked. "No...I assume their dead or elsewhere." I said. "Hm...well...troll caves do somehow have the ability to have some wonderfully made weapons." Balin said holding out his hand. "I could agree with that." Dwalin said looking back to me. "This looks like it's from the woodland realm...odd...it looks newly made." Balin said. "W-well I did give it a good polishing before coming down here." I said panicked. "Ah, that makes sense. Good on you for taking care of your weapons." Balin said. "Well, I assume your going to go practice shooting?" He asked. I nodded, "ai! I best be going" I said before running off. "This elf thing is getting really hard to hide." I muttered to myself before pushing open the door to the lower arena open. Inside I saw...Fili...practicing with his knives. "Hey Fili!" I said happily. He turned and gave me a surprised look then smiled. "Hey Ashe" he said. "Mind sharing the arena?" I asked. He shook his head, "not at all~" he said. I happily set my arrows down and grabbed one of my arrows. I looked at one of the targets and took aim. I pulled back the arrow and took a breath before firing, hitting a bullseye. I hit three more before going and grabbing my arrows out of the target. I glanced over and saw Fili staring at me, however quickly look away when I noticed him. 'Weird...' I thought before I went back further and continued firing arrows. I continued to notice Fili stealing looks at me then look away. I saw him doing fancy impressive tricks with his knife and trying to look majestic. 'Why is he doing that?' I thought to myself.
