Quadrillions of beings in the universe. One glitch in the System. For Beck Connelly, saving his dying sister was always a race against time. He just didn't expect the finish line to be the end of the world. When the Apocrypha System assimilates Earth, humanity is thrust into a game-like reality of stats, skills, and monsters. For most, it's a death sentence. For Beck, it's a terrifying opportunity. During his integration, a glitch reveals a truth: Beck isn't entirely human. He is a Paragon, wielder of the "Tri-finity," granting him access to power scales most users can only dream of. But such rare potential draws dangerous attention. From the AI guide 11T-5 to the fallen gods hiding in the system's architecture, eyes are turning toward the anomaly from Earth. Beck must master his new reality before the System, or the monsters roaming it, decides he's a bug to be patched out. Beck must min-max his way through jungles of dinosaur-chicken hybrids and dungeons of living metal. If he fails, he dies. If he succeeds, he might just become strong enough to tear the System apart to get his family back.

Mira, an avid player of otome games, suddenly finds herself in the world of the otome game she's just finished. As if that on its own isn't bad enough, she's become the game's villainess, Blythe Ridge, destined for execution once the heroine attains the good ending of whichever love interest she chooses. As a connoisseur of isekai web novels, she's convinced that all she needs to do to escape from certain death is to turn over a new leaf and stop bullying Daisy Willoughby, the heroine of the otome game. Easy peasy. Unfortunately for her, she soon finds out that she has no say in the matter-her body moves of its own will whenever certain game events have to take place. Everyone around her is bemused by her frenzied scrambling to claim that all her malicious actions, and even some of her speech, are a complete and total accident. Mira-no, it's Blythe now-just wants to escape from the 'villainess' label to keep on living! ----------------------------------- "Born to be a pacifist, forced to be a villainess. Such is the story of my life!" "What in the world are you talking about?" "It's a meme, a meme!" ----------------------------------- (third person, past tense, slowburn clean romance, LOW fantasy) ----------------------------------- Note: An otome game often refers to a romance visual novel, targeted at women, with a female protagonist and male love interests. Some include stat-raising aspects. ----------------------------------- Updates Tuesdays and Thursdays. Read 16 chapters ahead on Patreon! ⭐️ (Cover art by ME. I illustrated it.)

Marcy had a bad day. Then the world ended, and it got much, much worse. One minute, Marcy is a "horribly normal" girl living in a cramped apartment building, pining over her cheerful neighbor, Allan. The next, a "System" descends from the stars, turning Earth into a deadly game and its inhabitants into its players. But while others get to be Paladins or Soldiers, the System has a personal vendetta against Marcy. After refusing its rigged choices, Marcy finds herself transformed: Current Height: 4'2" Current Color: Neon Pink Current Class: [Dragon Fodder] Now, as a physics-defying Bunny-folk with a snarky, six-foot sentient greatsword named Wulf, Marcy has to survive a world that literally wants to eat her. To make matters worse, her crush Allan has reappeared... as a brooding, red-haired Half-Dragon who doesn't know whether to kiss her or have her for lunch. With a snarky System mocking her every move and a mysterious "glitch" in the interface giving her illegal advice, Marcy is about to prove that being "Prey" doesn't mean you're on the menu. Sometimes, to save the world, you just have to jump.

Before the System. Before classes, skills, and second chances. There was only the world as humanity broke it. This is the story that comes before the apocalypse everyone remembers. Set in a near-future dystopia, Book 0 follows Robby, long before he becomes anyone important, growing up in a world defined by debt, surveillance, and quiet cruelty. Governments fracture, corporations consolidate power, and entire generations are bound into "legal" servitude through inherited debt. Homelessness is normal. Hope is rationed. While the powerful argue, exploit, and prepare for a future they believe they control, ordinary people are left to survive a system designed to grind them down. This prequel arc explores the slow collapse of society and the human cost paid long before the end arrives. There are no levels. No System. No miracles. Not Yet. Only the choices people make when survival itself has a price tag. Book 0 consists of 22 chapters plus a prologue and epilogue, and serves as a dark foundation for the main series, showing not how the world ended, but why it deserved to. Summary: In the ultra-realistic VRMMO Aethelgard Online, Lee Theron has achieved everything. He's Level 100, he's the world's top-ranked Vanguard, and he's bored out of his mind. The "Meta" is stale, the guilds are toxic, and the world feels like a collection of empty pixels. Until he decides to do the unthinkable: He tries to date the end-game. Lady Shackrah, the Weaver of Despair, is a Level 250 World Boss designed by sadistic developers to be an unkillable engine of destruction. She has six arms, a crown of starlight, and a "Despair Aura" that melts players on contact. She isn't meant to have a heart. She isn't meant to leave her throne. But Theron has a "trash-tier" Unique Skill called [Unflinching Devotion] that scales his stats the more he's threatened. Armed with nothing but a master-tier cooking skill, a legendary sun-hat, and enough audacity to glitch the server, Theron embarks on an escort mission that will break the game's logic and start a global player war. Can a human tank survive a romance with a goddess of death? Or will the Game Developers-and five million angry players-delete them both before they can finish their first date? "I didn't come for your loot, Shackrah. I came because the world is boring, and you're the only thing in it that feels real."

One year, when winter came to Northfell, it stayed. This wouldn't matter much to anyone who didn't live there, except that its season became contagious. Every day, the snow and ice stretched out from the center of the city to freeze plants, creatures, almost the air, even, as Northfell's chill flashed across the countryside in glacial outbursts until it encompassed more and more land, and began to freeze the ocean. For Tine, a Mutkin of cat ancestry, traveling on a ship that became trapped in the Northfell ice was a worst-case scenario. Or, at least it was, until she found herself trekking across the cursed glacier with a band of strangers in the (irrational) hope that they could halt the phenomenon. Or, maybe it was until they were attacked at different points of their journey by wolves, vampires, goblins, and even politicians they battled along the way... What to expect: - A curse with world-changing consequences! - Heroes, adventures, and fights! - RPG slice-of-life antics, slow burn - Moral dilemmas, conflict, and, yes, a bit of romance! - A nod to genre tropes & some plot twists! - One really, really awesome pig! - Goblins and, of course, a dungeon! - Gambling & giant spiders! (Surprisingly, these are related.) - A distinct lack of exclamation points!! (They have all been used up here.) - And more...so much more!

A gateway to a long-awaited, always-online virtual island (an 'Autonomous World' or 'Permaworld') has opened for those who've found a key. This includes Dan Harvester, a guy who lives in a run-down apartment with his cat and runs a gaming channel. He's almost done playing and testing VR games, but this one could be his final chance to - truly - level up. What can it promise to him, and all its very first 'pioneers'? 'Fountellion'...is said to be 'natural' game-world, a N.E.P. world (Naturally-Evolving PermaWorld) full of artificial life that mimics the laws of our own natural world, with its shaping force of evolution. The game promises to be more than an open-world survival experience, for there are seven 'Insights' scattered and every player can find their own path to them. How much will Dan be changed, by his own search? A game-within-a-game or a simulated homage to the natural world? A complete vision of a 'metaverse' design which overgrows or salvages addicted players? There is only one way to find out: Tune in and experience Dan's 'avalogs'. For only by completing them and the fragments from the development, may you too discover the vision and legacy of 'Fountellion'... Notes: Please be aware this is speculative sci-fi, and includes outlines for an actual game-world within the story. The project is also decentralised and open source. Website is: https://ade-m-campbell.gitbook.io/fountellion-in-the-spiral-origin-nfts/ Interested in nature games and dev? Please get involved, on Twitter etc... Read also the prequel: 'In THE SPIRAL: Connected Stories & Fragments from a Virtual Future.' And in 2023: 'Through Fountellion: A Personal Story of an 'Ultimate' Game'.... Talk to Greenwise CHATBOT.... the AI / NPC himself via 'Character . AI' and POE.....

The first clutch has hatched, and their forces have been reinvigorated for a conflict with the rest of the world. Unfortunately, their entry into the realm of Somnium hasn't come without its costs. Far to the east, the Lord of Light's mortal enemy, the Vallyr, have learned of their budding settlement. While the Scourge leadership is on the warpath, things aren't so easy in their capital city of Bastion. The Cult of the Leech saboteurs plague the city, a strange Prophet claiming to be from the Lord of Light has arrived, and the Scourge must struggle to recruit enough warriors to fend off the much larger Vallyrian forces.
