No one's POV
Currently, Nhazul and Akira are working at Leblanc with Sojiro watching over them.
Sojiro: Guess we might as well close up for the night.
Nhazul: Aww, what about all the people lined up outside?
Sojiro: Real funny. Once you're both done, you can call it a-
Suddenly the door opened and every saw Sumire walking in.
Sumire: Um...
Morgana: Sumire?
Akira: What are you doing here?
Sojiro: Have a seat. She's here to see Nhazul, don't worry I'll finish up.
Sojiro then finished up everything and left and Nhazul made Sumire some coffee as she sat down.
Sumire: Sorry for coming over so late... and thank you for the coffee...
Nhazul: Don't worry about.
Sumire: Senpai...Would you mind if I got something off my chest...?
Nhazul: Go for it.
Sumire: Thank you. So to tell you the truth... I saw you all go into the nurse's office today... and um, I sort of eavesdropped on your conversation...
Nhazul: I know.
Sumire: You do?
Nhazul: Yup. Hard not to notice your tomato head at the door.
Sumire: Oh...
Akira: So you heard everything about Maruki.
Sumire: Yes...You've all found the paths you want to take and ate following them with such confidence...Wheres I'm simply...Like Dr. Maruki said before, I ran from thy truth...I couldn't handle the fact that Kasumi died because of my actions...My memories are still a bit hazy, but even when I remembered that I'm really Sumire, I didn't want to accept it... I was still running from reality, where Kasumi is gone...Where I had to live for Kasumi instead of as her.
Nhazul: Well, do you still want to run?
Sumire: No...Like I said earlier, I realized something when I saw you all striving to push onward... I can't keep running like this...But, now that Kasumi's gone, I have no idea what to do with myself...Nhazul Senpai...What should I do...?
Nhazul: I'd love to give you an answer, but that's not something I can decide for you. You do.
Sumire just looked at Nhazul surprised and smiled.
Sumire: You can be awfully firm sometimes, Nhazul Senpai. But you're absolutely correct. I have to thank you for allowing me to unload all this on you. I'm still not completely sure what I need to do, but I plan on thinking on it more. I've got to figure out what to do with my life now.
Nhazul: Good. I'm happy to hear it.
(Timeskip)
It's the next day and everyone had gathered and went back to Maruki's Palace and once they did, they were met by Sumire.
Mona: Oh it's...
Sumire: Hello, everyone.
Tenor: Hello there.
Sumire: You're going to fight Dr. Maruki, correct?
Tenor: That's right.
Sumire: Please, take me with you!
Mona: Uh, but ...You can't go dressed like that...
Sumire: Please? I'm done running away.
Sumire then pulled out the ribbon she used to tie her hair back and she then changed back into her Meta verse outfit.
Sumire: I can't keep relying on people, like Nhazul Senpai...I want to live life as Sumire!
Tenor: Well then.
Mona: Color me impressed.
Skull: Looks like she"ll do just fine here.
Tenor: Welcome aboard.
Sumire: Thank you!
Mona: In that case, we gotta come up with a code name for you!
Sumire looked at them confused.
Sumire: A what now?
Skull: It wouldn't be right if you were the only one goin by your real name, y'know?
Sumire: Oh, right!
Mona: Any suggestions, Tenor?
Tenor: Hmmmmmmmmm....I would go with "Appetite" but it doesn't have a good ring to it.
Sumire: I think that's fine, Senpai.
Queen: Please don't encourage him...
Tenor: So how about "Violet".
Panther: Oh, that's right! "Sumire" in English is "Violet"...Yeah, that sounds awesome!
Sumire: Violet..Yes, let's go with that!
Oracle: Excellent! Now remember everyone, "Violet"! Not" Violent","Violet"!
Tenor: ...-_-...We get it...
Crow just shook his head.
Crow: I'm surrounded by idiots...Are we done?
Joker: No, actually. There's one more thing I'd like everyone to know.
Fox: What is it?
Joker: I've been thinking about this for awhile, ever since we snapped out of Maruki's reality. And now I've made my decision.
Noir: Decision?
Mona: What decision?
Joker: Effective immediately, I resign from my position as leader for the Phantom Thieves and appoint Tenor as the new leader.
Everyone looked at Joker completely shocked when he said that.
Tenor: I'm sorry, what?!
Joker: You were the only one who didn't fall for Maruki's fake reality. If it weren't for you, none of us would be standing here right now. You were the one who brought us all back to our senses. And lastly, I don't feel right leading this team after betraying your trust. All in favor making Tenor the leader, say I.
Everyone other then Crow smiled and agreed with everything that Joker said and nodded.
Everyone: I!
Tenor just looked at everyone surprised and looked back at Joker.
Tenor: Are you sure about this? You really want me to lead?
Joker: I do. We've been here since the beginning, I know you can do this.
Tenor just looked at Joker and smiled.
Tenor: Alright then, I accept.
(Timeskip)
After Violet joined the team and Tenor became the new leader, everyone started to make their way through Maruki's Palace and suddenly, Violet's outfit changed back to her normal clothes.
Sumire: My outfit!
Joker: I think it's stable yet. Remember how that happened to us in Kamoshida's Palace.
Tenor: Yeah, but she's been here before and that never happened. It has to be something else.
Suddenly her outfit returned to her Phantom Thieve outfit.
Violet: I let my guard down for a second, but I swear it won't happen again! I'm sorry for making you worry.
Crow: That's fine, but don't hold us back either. If you push yourself harder then you're capable of handling, you'll endanger everyone on your side, too.
Oracle then started getting readings.
Oracle: Enemies approaching! They're fast...I dunno what the heck they are, but we'd better move it.
Tenor: Alright, let's keep going.
Everyone continued to move forward and once they reached the next area, they suddenly ambushed by multiple shadows and everyone managed to jump back, but Violet was surrounded by them.
Joker: Violet!
Violet: Cendrillon!
Violet went to summon Cendrillon, but she didn't appear which shocked her and everyone.
Violet: What?!
Mona: Her Persona's...
Skull: Not on my watch!
Skull went to help, but Tenor held him back.
Violet: Please, stay back. I appreciate it, but allow me... I chose to stand on my own two feet and fight. It's time I stopped being helpless!
Violet then started clinching her fists as she continued to speak.
Violet: I hung my head low and took your hand...But I knew all along deep down...Pretending to be Kasumi was not right...
Violet then started to rip off her mask as her eyes were yellow and blood on her face.
Violet: The weak, insecure Sumire...Dies today! You were the one...The only one who stayed true to yourself!
Violet then raised her hand to the air.
Violet: Come, Cendrillon! If you don't answer my call now...How else can we make our dreams come true?!
Suddenly, Violet heard a voice and it was of Cendrillon.
Cendrillon: Such tenacity...It seems to fit you better then ever before. The glass slippers are the icon of glory...Not just for you, but the other girl within you as well...I am thou, thou art I...Are you prepared for your debut? The ball awaits.
Violet then drew her rapier as Cendrillon appeared behind her.
Violet: Certainly. I'm done running from myself!
Cendrillon then hit all the shadows with a powerful bless skill, killing all of them. And everyone walked up to her.
Tenor: Nice work.
Violet: Sorry for troubling you. I'll be fine now.
Mona: You were as impressive as always out there. Well done, Violet.
Violet: Thank you. I still have a lot to learn, though. I promise I'll do my best not to slow you down!
Panther: C'mon, you don't have to be so formal with us.
Violet: Sorry.
Violet then looked at Tenor.
Violet: And the same goes for you, Tenor Senpai. I hope you'll still be there for me.
Tenor then smiled at Violet.
Tenor: But of course.
